Blind Item #5 - Kindness
I call this guy the king of the comic character actors. He has been a go to guy for recurring characters in multiple network hits that have kept him coming back the entire runs of the show. He has had some great movie roles in very hit movies. Without looking, I think he even did a season of SNL. Anyway, our actor is filming a new movie and a guy on the movie who just had a line or two asked some acting questions of our comic actor. The next thing you know our comic actor invited the guy's family down to the set and spent an entire day with them. They said every person who stopped by the set that day got to spend some time with the actor who took photos and recorded voice mails for them using one of his signature lines. Just a great guy.
Rob Riggle
ReplyDeletePatrick Warburton maybe
ReplyDeleteRecurring roles on The New Girl, The League, Modern Family etc
ReplyDeleteCurrently filming a movie called- Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life
and was on SNL from 2004-2005
ReplyDeleteOr DL Hugley.
ReplyDeleteRiggle and Warburton are both great guesses, but I think Derek got it with Riggle.
ReplyDeleteScreams John Goodman to me
ReplyDeleteGoodman was never a cast member of SNL
ReplyDeleteHypnotizing! I can zone out staring at your avi! Verrrry relaxxxing.....
ReplyDeleteFred Willard
ReplyDeleteThx sharknado:)
ReplyDeleteGreat guess!
ReplyDeletemy first thoughts were David Kochner or Chris Parnell
ReplyDeleteBut do all those people have "signature lines"?? Maybe Martin Short?
ReplyDeleteRob Riggle sounds right. Gil Thorpe is hilarious as Phil's nemesis on Modern Family. "Fork over the hardware, Donefor. Oooh, shiny." "Respect the medallion!" They should bring him back to inject some actual comedy back into that show.
