This foreign born B list mostly television actress crashed and burned badly last season with a show based on a movie. She has not done well in movies or television in the past decade but still has a name because of some big movie hits. She thinks she is far more popular than is the case. She wanted a store closed for her early so she could shop without being mobbed. The store refused. She came in and no one recognized her. When she left, someone did recognize her, but she blew them off for a photo.
Minnie Driver
Dumped on Oprah.

I thought Minnie is one of your favorites Enty?
ReplyDeleteShe's the one Damon was cheating on with all those women in different cities and hotels, that when she found out she blew up at him.
ReplyDeleteWinoa was such a druggie she didn't care when she found out.
This must be a new trend in celebrity/retail because way back when, when I worked retail in LA, a ton of celebrities would come to the store I managed and never, ever did any want the store closed for their private shopping.
ReplyDeleteI worked in a store and michelle pfeiffer came in with her daughter.
ReplyDeleteseriously, kind classiest lady.
f**k the entitled wannabes like minnie driver. in my mind she isnt even famous anymore.
kindest classiest*
ReplyDeleteonly the ones that desperate want (NEED) attention request it. you see f**king angelina jolie go into book stores without shutting them down.
ReplyDeleteI was in Anthropologie at the same time she was in the Grove several years ago. She waited in line just like everyone else. I was two people behind her in line.
ReplyDeleteMinnie has always been off-puttingly desperate for fame. Loved her in The Riches but it may have just been her proximity to Eddie Izzard.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely unbearable to watch in Good Will Hunting.
ReplyDeleteI forgot that she was in The Riches. She WAS pretty good in that role-even though it didn't last long ..
She's great. I love her.
ReplyDeleteEddie Izzard is super talented. Love his stand up.
ReplyDeleteMinnie Driver's pretty close to being a never-was.
ReplyDeleteI saw her in Eze, France and was planning to ignore her/give her privacy. She used her sister as a shield and acted like she was the most famous person on earth who had to hide from regular people (who didn't care about her). Weird and off-putting.
ReplyDeletei had an experience with her & had to go in same car as her for about 45 minutes to our destination & she was chatty & normal --- & SHE started the small talk-i was exhausted but she was energized(not in a coke high way)..i just had a very different experience & she was fine.More like @Gladys Kravitz's.
