Emmy Awards
From JV (several texts put together) – “I don’t know her (A list movie actress who was an A+ list television actress). I know him fairly well (B list actor/writer). They are married right? For real? I don’t understand this at all. I am looking at him. He is ten feet from me and has his arm around a woman who is definitely not his wife. This is not just posing for a selfie arm around her. It is like they just finished having sex and are cuddling after. You know, like Nicole Kidman poses on the red carpet with whoever she happens to be involved with. I am telling you these two have hooked up. And might do it again in a few minutes. If I was his wife I would leave in a second just from watching him now.”

ReplyDeleteI've never bought the Aniston-Theroux romance. I think he just wanted the name recognition he gets from being seen with her. This guy has been trying to get to the A list since way back in Mulholland Drive. He never seems to make it.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't think she's sincere either. I think she's probably too career oriented and disinterested in have a private life. I think that's why her marriage to Pitt fell apart just as much as St. Angie showing up. She probably likes being associated with him because it stops the tabs printing all their Jen vs. Angie stories which must annoy her after all these years. I think she loved the attention at the beginning when she and Brad broke up. But to have that attention last for years, with her cast as the wronged spouse just makes her look like a loser after all this time. So Theroux was good for her image too.
He lives most of the time in Austin in any case - and she doesn't.
Jen got what she wanted. She wanted a good looking B/C list actor who would be dependent on her & not leave her. And, he even had a hot LT live in GF that he dumped for her.

ReplyDeleteI remember the stories when she was still married to Pitt and he wanted kids and she didn't: she wanted to get on the movie A list. I guess growing up with parents who had to be content with soap roles made her ambitious to hit the big time. And I don't think she was in love with Pitt either - just in love with the attention. She's all business as far as I can tell.

ReplyDeleteI think Aniston and this guy must have an arrangement of some kind. She gets a permanent date and also gets to avoid the she's-so-pathetic media reports if she were to be single. He gets $$$$$.
