Blind Item #9

This outlier Presidential candidate is thinking of pulling out because there are people who want to examine their medical records. Apparently the candidate is bipolar but has never shared that with anyone outside of their family.

Trump is clearly disturbed and his medical records havent been released, but his doctor "says" his health is amazing.

Would anyone really be surprised if Voldemort (Yes, I'm using that cool Chrome attachment.) was diagnosed as bi-polar? I think that's already pretty obvious, don't you?

He's not an outlier, though. Sadly, he's the cream of the crop.
For use of the word "outlier", I think this is supposed to be Bernie Sanders, who I've followed for years.
I'm not sure he'd stand down because of such a threat, but this item may have been put out by an opponent. They all do such mean, shitty things to each other.

I consider "outlier" to mean outsider or different from the norm. But Sanders also hasn't released his records.

That article forced his doctor to say he's terrific but nothing was released besides the doctor's statement (happened Monday)

Carly Fiora. I think "their"is used because it's female...there are far more male candidates and Enty could've used "his" and still would have to be guessed

I say we hire a team of private investigators to go to Hawaii and dig out every hidden morsel of information they can find of this douchebag - then, we'll disclose our findings via a pay-per-view event. It's a win win.

  17. I think it might be Cara too. Y'all know that's her real name, right? Any person who publically disclosed they have been successfully treated for a mental health issue would gain my respect. There is too much stigma around these issues, too much shaming. This is also why people do bad things - there is too much stigma and they go untreated. Smart handlers would disclose this and make it a positive.

Trump would NEVER admit to anything like this, not even to his family. I'm pretty sure he thinks he's perfect.

Other than that, I got nothin'.

Really we are back to 1972 presidential campaigns. True I had to Google the information but we haven't moved forward since forcing Eagleton off the McGovern campaign? Wow..

  26. Never mind health records, I can't wait to see Trump's parade of mistresses. He makes Bill Clinton look like an amateur.

Bernie Sanders is great. I hope he's Hillary's running mate. She will use him as a real VP, like Clinton did with Gore.

I'm not really sure why that should matter. As long as they are under the regular care of a qualified physician and responsible about taking the proper diagnosed prescriptions as written by said physician, that should not be an issue.

in a perfect world, yes.... but we're talking about the next POTUS ...& we're talking very soon.. I just don't think it'll go down that smoothly w/alot of voters...
George W... had his alcoholism & that didn't matter soooo, we are slowly getting there in regards to stigmas.... (i hope).

Impossible to tell blind = Rohrschach test. It could be anyone, but the fact that it's being dangled out there now, based on what the word of a (clearly disgruntled or insufficiently greased) family member indicates oppo research and that one campaign or party establishment is attempting to torpedo someone they view as a threat. So it could easily be Trump. I saw an article that his doctor doesn't write letters for patients but will sign one submitted by the patient (but only if it's accurate). The personal physician might not be clued in on mental health issues (handled separately), however. It also could be Clinton putting a nail into Sanders's coffin. He's not going to win and he's hanging about costing her money and complicating her coronation. Also, Clinton's got her own serious and undisclosed health issues so she may be doing a preemptive strike.

    THIS.

Everybody thinks it's Trump...I say no. IT'S CARSON.

Bipolar has a lot of stereotypical incarnations....but Carson, trust me....as someone who knows mental illness well and can spot it.

So you Americans give an f word about the medical records of your candidates? You do not need them to know that Chump or the BS are nutjobs or retarded, just your TV.
If the others can manage whatever a doctor says they have, that does not interfere with their performance.

Chris Christie getting booted off his train car for yelling at his security detail into his cell phone seems a little crazy. To act this inappropriately both while one is governor and running for president suggests a lack of having even a modicum of self control.

Then there's his legal misadventures. He closed down a super busy bridge because he was pissed - that suggests that one is a little unbalanced to say the least.

  35. Malibuborebee5:36 AM

Whether some people think it should matter or not, it does. A diagnosis of a mental illness is a death knell for a presidential campaign. A brief bout of depression connected to a major life trauma is about as far as they can go.

I'd guess Fiorina with Jeb! as the one threatening to out her. The Bushes have always been vicious campaigners, even within their own party. Jeb! wants to be the last man standing candidate and he's picking off the low hanging fruit first. I doubt he'll succeed in getting the nomination but you never know with those morons.

As someone that lives with a person that is truly Bipolar and not that whole ... they are moody so they must be bipolar you do NOT want someone with that running the county. It is a roller coaster ride and psychotic breaks happen. Do you really want your president believing that he sees war planes or monkey hanging from the lights in the white house? There are mental illnesses that are fine for the job but not this one. The person I live with sees a shrink and dr one a month and he has never taken the same dose of meds for 2 months straight and takes 3 different drugs at the moment. Stress exacerbates this disease and there aren't many more stressful jobs than this one.

As to who it is, I don't know. None of us see them often enough in regular life.

It would make sense that Carson is heavily medicated.

    ReplyDelete
  39. marina8:37 AM

My thoughts too. I feel like this could be Carson since he seems medicated and has written about violence in his past. Don't know about the others but Sanders seems like he has it together pretty well. I've watched him for years on tv appearances and never got a vibe. Same with Clinton. Sorry about your partner. Must be tough.

It would be easy to say "him" or "he" without narrowing it down too much. But using a neutral pronoun coupled with the "outlier" adjective points to Fiorina.

Bush hijinx, like the flyers on cars about mccains illegitimate black baby.
Primary votes count for nothing. Backroom deals can upend the whole thing and throw the nom to jeb. then they get the word out to thr faithful via limbaugh and savage about how bad trump is and the sheeple fall in line.
Hilary already has more than enough super delegates that the primary doesnt even matter. Done deal.

  48. I totally get your point. I've been exposed to several people who were diagnosed as biopolar as well. One is very much like the person you describe in your post. Another one *seems* much more stable, and that person has been on lithium for years. The other thing I've learned about bipolar illness is that people who have it need very consistent sleep schedules. That would probably be very incompatible with the POTUS job, because of the travel and other demands. It does make one wonder about W, since I remember the stories about him going to bed at like 8:30 every night, no matter what, and having to be awakened if there were urgent matters. And many people self medicate with booze/drugs.

Don't believe electric shock treatment is a sniffle. I was speaking of how we treat people that have clinical depression or mental health issues not whether they should be Vice President or president. To me the red Scarlett letter is never the best option for treatment. But with this being a gossip site, I feel ya!

Not to be cruel, I thought tough shit for Eagleton who knew the politics game. The rest of the community with mental health problems already (and still) face a great stigma. And that campaign did not help. But don't mind me. I see House of Cards as realistic!

  57. I've been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It's pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
