Blind Item #8 - Kindness

This foreign born former A list mostly movie actor has bounced around in his listing for the past decade. Still he has A+ list name recognition, but is not getting the roles or billing he used to. A great guy who is still really good looking, he posed for some fans while dining out the other night. He then surprised the table by paying for their dinner and loading them up with bottles of champagne to go.

    Colin Farrell.
    Could see him doing that

  2. First time poster. +1 Tricia. My first thought.

  3. Hugh Grant?? Though he'd better not be buying champagne for fans because he has an awful lot of child support to pay and doesn't seem to be working much these days.

Hey Epsilon! Colin was always a good guy I hear - always, just "misquided a bit for a time". Seems like sobriety has given him a lot of grace, and gratitude--- love the blind:)

I'm not sure Colin Farrell or Hugh Grant can be considered "great guys". I think mebbe Grant fits that a bit better though. He certainly doesnt get many good roles anymore.

  7. I have always had that vibe from him. Glad to know I am not alone in this view. Love the site and love all of you regular posters!

  8. I can see Colin doing this. He always seemed like a good guy, but at times lost and has the worst taste in women.

I saw Colin Farrell's sex tape. He sounds high as balls, but his "I'm totally stoned" babble is just a string of compliments to the girl he's with. He can't shut up about how pretty she is, how awesome it is to be with her, how much fun he's having, etc. Sounds like a good guy to me! ;)

Ironically, "After The Dust" was on last night--
Was it @ meowie or Snarknado who told me HOW FINE Colin F. (& Salma H.) are in that film? you were very right...damm fiiiine..whew!
I hope this is Colin F. -he had me at "Tigerland".
and lemme repeat: I love these Kindness Blinds!
(also if this IS Colin he's partying vicariously through them--very common w/alcoholics--i just hope noone's driving w/their champagnes to go).

Methinks it was Sharknado @back again. But now, I may have to watch this "After the Dust," for, ahem, *cough*, filmic porpoises. :)

Christian Bale. I mean honestly his career could be better. He makes odd choices. The Big Short has not gotten good reviews. Def still A+ name recognition but creeping towards A-/B+ with actual ranking as he's being passed on both sides by the Fassbenders, Redmaynes and various Chrises...

ahh maybe- i know i learned it here though! the movie is based on the true story of author John Fante's early days in Hollywood set against the Depression.Very nice looking duo those two.

Keanu still gets top billing - John Wick, etc. I think this is the lovely Colin Farrell.

Yep, it was me! That you remember the actual plot is amazing, back again. My synopsis of this movie consists of them romping naked in the surf or in bed.

  19. Could be James McAvoy as well. Nice guy, no ego.

lol.. it was JUST on 2 nights ago & i came in 1/2 way thru- & i watched just for the Romps!
I know the story cuz it's based on a novel-- i paid little attn. to the plot in the movie- i just looked up at all the 'good parts'.I didn't even know Donald Sutherland was in it til' the credits & then recognized that was his voice reading a letter.

Great for padding the list of stars, though (Donald). He was in a few scenes but seemed "out of it". You didn't miss anything.
