This B- list mostly television actor who stars on an almost television show you can only get if you have a certain provider is cheating on his actress/singer wife with a co-star and one of her best friends.
Not sure if this is what it actually means, but it sounds like he's cheating on the wife with his co-star AND with a best friend of the co-star -- a threeway!
Me, too! Huh? "...cheating on his actress/singer wife with a co-star and one of her best friends." 1.) ...(with) a co-star (who) is one of the wife's best friends? (where he is being an adulterous jerk) 2.) ...a co-star and (some one who is) one of her best friends? (where he is an adulterous jerk having a threesome)
My daughter just explained this to me. (And, now I feel really dumb) It's the lack of a comma that makes this one person he is cheating with. {cheating on his actress/singer wife with a co-star and one of her best friends.} [cheating on his actress/singer wife with a co-star, and one of her best friends.] You see the difference? {the co-star is also a best friend.} [the co-star AND a best friend.] Apparently, commas do make a world of difference.
@ AndrewBW, I remember specifically that one of the commenters(he was/is a web editor) here said that he could tell the 'older' people from the 'younger' people making remarks here b/c the older ones punctuated & would put a space after a period & before starting a new sentence & the young ones do not... i remember feeling old & unaware. ; )
