Blind Items Revealed #4
November 16, 2013
This former A list mostly television actress who has slipped to B with all of her shows off the air has a new clothing line. All she wanted was the check. The company kept asking her if she wanted to help or contribute and she said, “send me the check and what you want me to say and I will show up and take some photos in the clothes and tell the world I designed them.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt
And she is different from other celebrities who endorse products how?
ReplyDeleteThe Company should've made the f'ing ugliest most unflattering stuff imaginable, then made her wear them & brag about how she designed 'em & then fired her (parted ways b/c of artistic diferences)...
ReplyDeleteIsn't this standard procedure? Does anyone really think that the Kardashian/Jenners or Jessica Simpson or Joan Rivers ever saw what bore their name until it was pitch time? C'mon, man. If you did, you're a moron and probably wearing that sh!t right now.
ReplyDeleteit actually cracks me up when i see some of the gaaaawd awful clothes & things that celebs attach their name to ..for the paycheck...look in any xmas flier right now...uuuugggghhhh some of the celeb's "wares"...and don't even get me started on SOME of their toilet deodorizers,..er I mean "parfums" & colognes...you WILL sneeze if inhaled... (albeit a few are really nice..and i think the celebs WERE very involved with their successful outcomes)
ReplyDeleteJust about to type that when I read the comments.
ReplyDeleteYes. The Company probably even used a licensing agent procuring the rights to use and market her name and image in conjunction with the clothing line. These companies have their own in-house designers, they may imply she had a hand in designing, but get real. At best, these celebities may pull sample tear sheets or create a look board, but that is not the same thing as producing a line or seasonal collections.
ReplyDeleteJessica's mom does help in her line of clothes, accessories and fragrances
ReplyDeleteHow many of these celebs I wonder inquire about the labour practices and working conditions of how these clothes are assembled??!
ReplyDeleteAgreed that this is not really a "scandal"...and wouldn't the clothing line be nothing but happy about this? They don't have to deal with her whims, can just do what they want...
