Noel Gallagher and
ReplyDeleteI'll say Gallagher and Beyonce perhaps? Could that be?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if Oasis was a duo band.
ReplyDeleteOasis was band not a duo.
ReplyDeletePretty sure no one knows the names off the tip of the tonqgue of the drummer or keyboardist though lol. I think for Entys purposes they are/were- and are amazing live btw. I hope this is more of a Noel/Kim Gordan or even Stevie Nicks, Courtney Love maybe(who isn't perm A don't think). BEyonce wouldn't make sense in that he bashed her publicly etc ( as he does with many artists!) yikes.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Noel's insults !!! and he's usually right on...
ReplyDeleteI still dont think its Noel Gallagher. Not even sure thats Beyonce. But Im puzzeld because there isnt very famous foreign duos who has an individual who went to have a successful career. Cant think of anyone. USA has plenty of famous duos Simon&Garfunkel, Sonny&Cher etc...
ReplyDeletepermanent A list singer makes me think of someone older Diana Ross would fit.
ReplyDeleteWHAM did.
ReplyDeleteand George Michael
ReplyDeleteHe is pure gold@Back Again...what he said about James Blunt- Sheeran..he even said some shite on Radiohead(who I love) but he likes and respects them- just thinks oasis was better.Modest, he ain't:)
ReplyDeleteJack White
ReplyDeleteWould Gwen Stefani fit for the female part?
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than a good Noel interview. Even when I can only understand about 50% of what he is saying, his interviews are still thoroughly interesting and entertaining.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big Radiohead fan too-great band.
:)
ReplyDeleteAnnie Lennox ? Darryl Hall ?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm
Forget Lennox. I just read "he".
ReplyDeleteDave Stewart and maybe Stevie Nicks?
ReplyDeleteDuo being Eurythmics, and Stevie as A+ singer in band and solo.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read duo I too thought jack white, but he's American and divorced.
ReplyDeleteI would love for this to be Nicks and Stewart!
ReplyDeleteHe produced an album for her, like, in 2011, I think. They recorded it at her home and he also directed a making of documentary, which came out last year. So there's a timeline that correlates.
ReplyDeleteStevie Nicks and Dave Stewart were an item back in the 80's. This would not be much of a surprise if it were them.
ReplyDeleteNIIIICE ONE @ Meowie!!! good sleuthing! noone thought of Stevie Nicks & yet it works perfectly!
ReplyDeletehahaha-- i know.he's very entertaining to listen to /read.
ReplyDeleteNoel seems to really love hanging with his wife & kids btw..
ReplyDeleteThanks @back again! You know a lot about music, it seems to me, so I thought you'd be a good judge as to guess validity. I appreciate your coming to take a look.
ReplyDelete@tricia mentioned Stevie, actually, but in re Noel G. @peopleselbow landed on Eurythemics, but Annie.
I saw part of the documentary last year. It's worth seeing Stevie in full on creative mode. Finally, this is for you, @hothotheat and @lutefisk, I hope you enjoy it. Stevie live version "Blame It on My Wild Heart":
