Today's Blind Items - Old Hollywood

This actress was A+ list at the peak of her career. She was incredibly popular with women because of her Rachel at the time haircut and men loved her and had her posters everywhere. Her decline was almost as fast as her rise. During her peak she was in her fair share of scandals.

At one point she was having an affair with two actors at the same time. Both were A+ list and frequently co-starred together. When a gossip columnist threatened to reveal all, they called things off. When the two actors found out she had been sleeping with both of them, they each replaced her in movies they had promised to her. She had a child die shortly after birth, but the baby was not her husband's, but rather this A+ list mogul/producer.

I thought Louise Brooks but her Wiki says she never had children-she called herself "Barren Brooks".
Bettie Page didn't have any children either.

  14. It's obviously Farrah. Her hairstyle was extremely popular, as was her poster.

Betty Grable? She's the one I think of for the "all the guys had her poster" thing. I don't know about her hair. She did get around quite a bit so juggling boyfriends, a husband and a studio head wouldn't be out of the question. Maybe.

  18. Brigitte Bardot. Scandalous! Had a baby with Roger Vadim but gave it to her husband to raise (maybe it died or maybe when she was young she said it died). She was sleeping with everybody. And apparently her hair was iconic: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2791264/brigitte-bardot-100-lovers-including-women-four-husbands-fame-led-despair-tried-end-life-four-times-abandoned-child-reveals-new-book.html

Veronica Lake, her decline was pretty rapid and her hair is iconic. I don't know who the guys are though.

Farrah had both the haircut and the poster. Have no idea who the men are. Poor Farrah - she had such a sad life, it seems. RIP.

  28. The actress is Veronica Lake, the columnist is Hedda Hopper, the mogul is Howard Hughes, and the two actors, I'm not sure -- maybe Marlon Brando and Fredric March?
