This actress is probably B+. I would move her higher but her hit pay cable show is an ensemble and she never does anything else but her show. Considering her duties with the show that is probably understandable. Anyway, her temper is legendary and she literally threw a drink at a production assistant this week when they dared bring her the wrong drink. The drink hit the ground in front of the PA and splattered everyone within five feet.
Lena Dunham
You know, a solid, smart, professional, personal assistant could insure that little things like this are taken care of. There's rarely a need for temper tantrums. Take a page from Tim Gunn's book - when he recently lost his shizz on PR, the looks on people's faces spoke volumes. Anger can be power, to quote The Clash, but not when you piss it away and use it unjustly. Grow up, Lena.
ReplyDeleteLet me guess the wrong drink - low fat latte.
ReplyDeleteI see an employee filed harassment law suit in her near future.
ReplyDelete+1
ReplyDelete(saw that PR eppy....love Tim Gunn!)
+1and for those that don't watch PR I don't think I have ever seen Tim lose it....so it was a surprise.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites from The Clash. :)
ReplyDeleteWell......Swapnil DESERVED it !!!! I love Tim Gunn too...he tried to 'Make It Work' with him but Swappie just wouldn't do it...sad.. he had such nice eyes ....err i mean ...ideas !!
ReplyDelete@ meowie that was a really good analogy for me. ; )
ReplyDelete@meowie - she better keep her anger in check. she is smart but also insufferable. after Girls is done, does she TRULY think she will have the same success ever again? she's shrill and her idea of entertainment is making her life into fiction. unless she wants to do the thirties version of Girls.....better be nice, pudge pudge..
ReplyDeleteshe's just mad cause she's obese.
ReplyDeleteTo me, Girls is the definitive Emperor Has No Clothes show. It is truly grotesque and I quit after a couple episodes into the third season. Lena Dunham's only draw is watching her vision is like the urge to look at a horrible traffic accident, and the inability to look away. This is the golden age of television: breaking bad, the walking dead, game of thrones, dexter, outlander, even teen tv to some extent like gossip girl and early vampire diaries. I'll never understand how anyone can think Girls compares to these shows, but different strokes for different folks I guess.
ReplyDelete^^^^THIS!!!!
ReplyDelete????????????????????????????????????????????????
Sorry -- those question marks were emoji that clear don't translate
ReplyDeleteShe's a spoiled insider through her parents and so are her friends. If she had to work her way up she would likely be less awful.
ReplyDeletelemme guess - her PA is one of her 'regular' supermodel friends who made her 'feel fat' by bringing her a pumpkin spice from Starbucks?
ReplyDeleteWith her looks you'd think she'd have a better personality.
