Blind Item #9
This B+ list mostly movie actor is an a-hole. That is well documented. No one was happier than me when his chance at headlining a movie crashed and burned because no one watched his movie. Apparently he has been dating a Russian woman and he beat her pretty badly. She told her family who paid a visit to the actor but have been put off retaliating against him because of his fame.
Jeremy Piven
ReplyDeletezounds good
ReplyDeleteHe's pretty TV-heavy, though - I think.
ReplyDeleteOr is it Shia with Man Down?
ReplyDeletepiven would be Entourage- big disappointment
His recent successes are both TV(Entourage/Selfidges) , but most of his credits are film- I think?

ReplyDeleteShia has headlined movies before. Piven hasnt really been the star.
ReplyDeleteMatthew Fox in "Extinction" ?
ReplyDeleten/m married...
ReplyDeletewes bently in "We Are Your Friends" --he like em young..
Terrence Howard in any lead films?
This one is tricky. Idk...Ben foster? there was a DM article about how bad he looked lately and they assumed it would be because he took the break up with Robin Wright really bad, he looked booze-bloated, balding and overweight. He took PEDs for the Lance Armstrong movie that apparently bombed at TIFF and has no yet a US premiere date. But I don’t think that he’d be dating a Russian girl, and the movie has not been premiered in the Us and probably never will, besides I don’t think he’s B+ ...so I don’t know
ReplyDeleteMel Gibson's dating that 24 yr. old foreign web porn girl....just saying
ReplyDeletemickey Rourke?
ReplyDeleteHe could care less about poor lil Robin Wright. He cheated on her repeatedly and it was HE who dumped her this time around. This alice chick is deranged; always mentioning Robin W by proxy, even when the items have absolutely nothing to do with her.
ReplyDeleteWho knew Robin W has a fan.
I'm down with Piven. His d-baggery is well-documented, and Entourage is widely considered a failure. Conventional wisdom says a movie has to make *at least* half again its budget to break even, once you account for marketing and the theaters' take; Entourage cost about $30 million, and only pulled in $46 million, even with foreign b.o.
ReplyDeletewell then they made back more than "half their budget". unless you mean "double their budget"
ReplyDeleteWell, yes (though the double-budget figure applies for some movies, too), but a $1 million dollar profit on a (total) $45 million dollar investment would generally be considered a failure in Hollywood terms.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way Mel is B, though.
ReplyDeleteHi @ Anne B.-oh ..i know that he's headlined many many movies.I was just insinuating that the blind fits him re: the nasty parts .. ; )
