Blind Item #3
This former A list mostly movie actor turned no wants to hire him turned Academy Award winner/nominee turned no one wants to hire him despite his name recognition tired to get his girlfriend to have sex with him during a premiere the other night. The girlfriend was having none of it and walked out.
Mickey Rourke
ReplyDeleteoutside chance for James Caan
ReplyDeleteOohs...James has a ticker problem, that would risky bizness!!
ReplyDeleteMichael Keaton
ReplyDeleteThe premiere for the movie, Spotlight...
ReplyDeleteIf this is Mickey Rourke, the Viagra must have kicked in while he was walking the red carpet!
ReplyDeleteWhile I like the Michael Keaton guess for the career gap/recent success, I don't remember the gap having been due to "no one wants to hire him." I thought it was his choice not to work as much (particularly in front of the cameras).
ReplyDeleteMickey fits better, but who's still inviting him to premieres?
I know I've read that Keaton is a much bigger pain in the ass and not nearly the nice guy the public thinks he is, and that that contributed to his loss of the Oscar.
ReplyDeleteAdrien Brody
ReplyDeletedo tell.
ReplyDeleteGood for the girlfriend. Next time hire a hooker, she'll agree.
ReplyDeleteEdward Norton.
ReplyDeleteI just thought of Edward Norton the other day, what a fantastic actor he is, why hasn't he worked in so long?
ReplyDeleteBecause apparently he's extremely difficult to work with and no one wanted to hire him. He needed a does of humility before being allowed back in the limelight.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard that about Keaton but I've heard it a lot about his Birdman co-star Ed Norton. That man is apparently hated throughout Hollywood.
ReplyDeletewhat a shame
ReplyDeleteThis definitely isn't Norton... For starters, he was nominated for his firs ever role, "Primal Fear," so he isn't "A list mostly movie actor turned no wants to hire him turned Academy Award winner/nominee."
ReplyDeletePLUS he's never actually WON an Oscar, only been nominated.
I heard he's really hard to work with and he was recently nominated for an Oscar for Birdman.
