Blind Item #13 - More 80's

This permanent A list celebrity who probably reached her peak in the 80's makes her living as an actress now. Back when this happened though, she didn't really act. One week she was on a show that was short lived but amazing. Network. The people who starred on it have gone on to some really amazing things. Anyway, our celebrity turned actress was still underage at the time. Just barely. She said that when she was on that show it is the only time in her life she has ever done coke. She said it just seemed like the right thing to do in that place where everyone was doing it.

    I like that guess but I can't see it. Brooke was born in 1965 so we're talking about 1982 or so. Don't see any TV work at that time for her, just movies. So I guess you can't really say she was "just a celeb" either.

    true about "just a celeb" -thought about that after hit button cuz she was REALLY young in Pretty Baby & Blue Lagoon so she was acting

    or Tracy Lords, she was 19 and did a tv show called "Wise Guys" that was critically acclaimed. She has stated in interviews she did not party a lot (surprisingly) and she was known for porn before that. She definitely still has A list name recognition and acts in mainstream movies.

    Sarah Jessica Parker with the short-lived 80s show being Square Pegs. Before that she was in Annie on Bway. Funny show that lasted a season. Jamie Gertz & Tracy Nelson were great on that show too. The drug stories from that show were very crazy.

    3 years is pretty short lived---80s shows went on and on it seemed
    Look at shows like Facts of Life and Whos the Boss---they went over 10 years and they were crap!

    BUT I just read that she admits to having a coke habit so it definetly doesn't work


    I am sticking with Brook---I want this to be revealed!

    Good guess Puffy!!! I completely forgot about Square Pegs. It was actually a good show for its time...but was short-lived. The world wasn't quite ready for Square Pegs. /grin

    Freaks & Geeks was only set in the 1980s... it was filmed in 1999 and 2000.
