Blind Item #2- Emmy Awards
Unless you were someone who could do her a favor, this Emmy winner won the biggest pain in the butt award last night. Before she won she thought she was better than you, but now that she has won, she has taken it to an entirely different level. At several events last night and the awards itself she refused to mingle or interact unless the person was higher on the food chain than herself. For someone who likes to talk the game about how she is down to earth, she is far far from it. No one came away from last night with any like at all about her.
Viola davis
ReplyDeleteViola Davis?
ReplyDeleteCan't really see the oither actresses having attitude
ReplyDeleteTo be different,I will write Amy Shumer
ReplyDeleteWell, that's shitty - I understand her recognition has been hard-fought, but being nasty to people on the way up attracts negative karma. (Davis)
ReplyDeleteTotally Amy Schumer
ReplyDeleteI don't think Viola Davis is nasty, she did mention all other successful black actresses in her speech, stuck up bi?$& don't do that. Amy is always going on about how down to earth and cool she is.
ReplyDeleteAmy Schumer
ReplyDeleteBut Amy Schumer is actually, very down to earth. So if Enty wanted to imply it's her- it's fabricated.Half the people working on the show she won for are her longtime friends/writers/ fellow comics she insisted on hiring for the show(or it was a no go). That was the"dream show" her partner / writer referred to in acceptance speech.
ReplyDeleteUzo Aduba. I don't believe that humble shit for one bit. Wasn't there a blind revealed about this diva behavior recently?
ReplyDeletei was very happy that she won-she deserved it.I don't see her being nasty from what I'm reading from her acceptance speech-she wouldn't've had people moved or in tears i wouldn't think if she was an a nasty ass.
ReplyDeleteI think they(Kerry Washington , Regina King, for example)were moved to tears because it was a milestone win for women of color; perhaps not because Viola, herself , is a sweetie. I have heard she isn't- but who knows?
ReplyDeleteshe is haughty& proper& also very funny & generous -I've heard her in interviews- i obviously like her alot- I'm NOT Buying this for a minute if this is meant to be her--Enty BS.
ReplyDeletep.s. people loved her on "The Help' set...just sayin..
ReplyDeleteI would go with Schumer, she believes her own hype.
ReplyDeleteFrances McDormand
ReplyDeleteThe only one who truly fits is Viola, the others were either surprise winners or are Oscar/Emmy winners already. However, I don't buy it.
ReplyDelete-i could get on board with this answer! i loved her in "Burn After Reading".
ReplyDelete-BTW, did ANYONE here actually watch "Olive Kitteredge" on HBO which won all the accolades last night?
Mo'Nique is a nasty piece of work but she didn't win anything
ReplyDeleteThat's who I thought! There's always been something really phony about her.
ReplyDeleteThe writer/creator of Transparent. I'm intrigued that Enty doesn't just say "actress." And I definitely got a "my story is soooo important so I am too" vibe off her. Regina and Viola have survived in this business for too long to be awful.
ReplyDeleteI watched Olive Kitteridge! It was really good, but it kind of became joke when Bill Murray won an Emmy for his miniscule part
ReplyDeleteUZO ADUBA FTW
ReplyDeleteI think Aeol's on to something.
ReplyDeleteThis is totally Viola. She was furious she didn't get the Oscar for The Help and actually has a reputation for being haughty and arrogant
ReplyDeleteBut Frances McDormand IS better than all of them. They have to know that. And she has an Oscar so it isn't like some Emmys confirmed her superiority for her. That was a given going into it.
