Blind Item #1
To make the producers as much money as possible and also the record labels, this foreign talent show which bombed here is rigged in its home country. You shouldn't even bother to audition.

ReplyDeleteWell they're all rigged aren't they? And you'd be a fool to think otherwise. They're entertainment shows not talent competitions. Anyway, this blind comes straight from an article written by an ex X factor producer type that I read last month.
ReplyDeleteI always thought they were all rigged for the best possible ratings!
ReplyDeleteThere's an article on 'Cracked' by an ex-producer.
ReplyDeleteMy brother was on America's Got Talent, and yes it's somewhat rigged from what he says. Not sure about the "voting" itself, but they set up people for failure. In the act he was apart of (it was a circus act), they picked out the music for them. It was a sloooooooow ballad, which meant the act was pretty boring. They got ripped to shreds for it being boring. They were pissed because they did what they could with the HORRIBLE song selection. The producers don't know anything about the circus, how can they actually think they know how to pick music that highlights the act? They can't!
ReplyDeleteAlso, there was a singing group of young girls, I think they were btwn 14 and 16. The producers gave them the song "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons and picked out skimpy slutty outfits. That song was NOT a good fit for teenage girls, and they also got ripped apart for being "underdressed" and "inappropriate". So yeah, I do think they mess around with factors that end up affecting whether you move forward or not.
Also, all the Snapple drinks backstage were nailed to the tables. Everything was. You could drink all the free Snapple you want, but the bottles on the table are permanently fixed there lol. Just a random thing he told me.
ReplyDeletethe table that they show in the 'backstage' shots.
