Today's Blind Items- Forced

A few weeks ago this Academy Award winner/nominee shared a story. She is always good for a story and has way way more than most that are far more juicy than most. She is good about sharing. She said the worst experience she ever had on a film set was making this film back in the day. She was probably A list at that point in her career and so was her female co-star. Despite their status though, their male co-lead was never punished or fired or anything even after both of the women complained to producers that the actor was groping them almost constantly and our story teller said that at the beginning of filming she had gone on a date with the actor not knowing what he was like. She says that he forced her to have sex and that whenever they were alone on set he would try again.

I know several people who worked on that film, including Marisa's stand-in, and I never heard of anything creepy going on.

+1-- Susan Sarandon has good stories & I'm too lazy to think about this.
I always thought Michael Madsen was Virginia's ex-husband.I didn't know they were siblings til last week & we were watching "Sideways".

Why would she be going on a date with a costar when she was in a relationship with Tim Robbins?

and why would a feminist movie about women that get revenge on rapist and abusers tolerate that on the set?

But they did the Sequel "The Evening Star" and Jack N. had a small role in it again with Shirley Maclaine

I don't think a woman(MacLaine) who is 2 years older than Jack is his type- at all.
The wrestler was released mere 6/7 years ago
heat was an ensemble piece, I think Pacino/Deniro were the leads(and Judd and he were having a -heated lol- fling during filming I think...

I am conflicted about this. Forcible sex is also known as RAPE and she should have reported the asshole. If she was not forced then she agreed to it, so it is consensual sex between adults.
Oh and the horrible Russell Crowe has to be involved somehow. He gives me this strong creep vibe

-How about "The Man Who Loved Women" with Burt Reynolds & Kim Basinger & Julie Andrews...
-Or any movie with Burt Reynolds...(Boogie nights, Starting Over,etc..)
Julie Andrews has good stories between her & her Hubby Blake Edwards

That movie was flimed in the apartment building I lived in in college. Nothing like this was going on there. Marissa was an incredible diva.

"Back in the Day" makes me think this is older than 90's or 2000's. Think we need to look at 70's or 80's at least.

Apologies if this has already been guessed. I'm on my phone and not all of the comments are showing:

    Movie: Thelma

Well, so much for commenting from my phone.

    My guess was:
    Movie: Thelma & Louise
Actors: Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis, Harvey Kitel
Victim: Susan Sarandon, Perpetrator: Harvey Kitel

    Hey@cousineddy..same,wavelength..I guessed Geena Davis/Sarandon/Madsen
Geena (both won,and nominated for AAs and was in between marriages(Goldblum/Harlin)when the film was shot....Madsen and Keitel both had equal screen time, and are both- difficult, to put it nicely, but I am not sure he's as dark,as MM..but could be!

    * oops, so my guess was Geena/Michael
But still vibed with film lol:)

-Actually @ Tricia, I liked your "Diabolique" Remake guess AND Sharon Stone's in the Randoms today.
-I used to think Isabel Adjani was so beautiful & i was sooo jealous of her b/c she was w/Daniel Day-Lewis.She's notoriously difficult to work with as well & does she talk about past costars.??? i dunno.
    -Why Is Chazz Palmieteri Awful?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Tricia 138:09 AM

Yes, I noticed that she was....glad you liked the guess(and that you remember that film..it was so bad that most opted to,forget especially her I think( it is an example at least of a true male lead/2 female lead of that's what entry was going for...? Chazz has never been too far removed from, his screen persona or-characters to a degree..well say.boys club mentality...but ok to men(and works well with them- my uncle liked him, but wouldn't want your sister dating him, type thing...
