Blind Items Revealed #5

This former B list mostly movie actress was in a huge long running franchise and lived until the end. She yelled at a woman yesterday who thought the barely 20 something actress looked amazing for 40. It was a crazy overreaction for the usually happy foreign born actress.
Bonnie Wright
I'm sorry Enty I had to look her up and there's no way this is true. She doesn't even look 20 much less 40.

ReplyDeleteDitto.
ReplyDeleteShe was angry because the person was clearly trying to insult her...she was on the receiving end of a back handed faux compliment by a likely very jealous person who wanted to basically say she looks old (which obviously isn't true).
ReplyDeleteIf someone added 20 years to my age I would be pissed too.
ReplyDeleteIt was Cho Chang being a jealous beeyotch.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I have a wacky thought. Maybe it was a misunderstanding. Maybe the fan was trying to joke with her about her appearance in the last scene of the last "Potter" movie, the "Epilogue: 19 Years Later" sequence when she, Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were made up to look like they would around age 40. (Actually, late thirties, but, close enough.)
ReplyDeleteof course she was angry, SHE IS 24 YEARS OLD.
ReplyDelete@jonathan - whoa I didnt even think about this - you might be on to something1
ReplyDeleteI mean, what other possible explanation is there for saying that to someone who looks barely out of puberty?
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you're right. I just rewatched this movie the other day, and the aging makeup they had on the actors was hilarious. They didn't look late thirties, they looked late fifties. Those must have been some hard, post-Voldemort years!
ReplyDeleteOr maybe she was mistaken for a 40something+ actress -- I had to look her up, she looks vaguely like several actresses (Laura Linney, for one)
ReplyDeleteAfter reading this I was going to say the exact same thing @JAS said: the person was probably referring to her aged appearance at the end of the last HP film. That being said, Bonnie does look older and more mature than 24 and older than her cast mates from the HP films. I've met plenty of folks both male and female in their 30s who look 10+ years older and folks in their 40s who look much younger than their actual age. It's all genes and how you take care of yourself. I honestly get mistaken for being 15+ years younger than I am (putting me in my 20s instead of 40s). At times it can be flattering and more times than not, it is annoying, to tell the truth. Bonnie is attractive no matter her actual age and should just brush off the comment made by someone she'll probably never come into contact with again.
