This former A+list singer is now struggling to stay in the B range and has her semi-regular hosting duties keeping her at that level. One of the reasons for the drop in her status is that she is letting her unemployed significant other now manage her and decided on her career decisions. Not a good move.
Christina Aguilera
Oh, wow! I like her a lot! She has a very big voice that is unmistakably hers. Too bad about her husband.
ReplyDeleteNot much of a fan but the girl does have a set of pipes on her, unlike most of the other popular chirpy birds that pass as "singers" nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThe girl is talented. She can sing like no other...but my gosh if she isn't the dumbest chick in the world? Her dude is a no-job, no-career, no-aspirations LOSER and she chooses HIM to manage her career. Now she's as big of a loser. /shakes head in disbelief/
ReplyDeleteJust because you have talent and money doesn't necessarily mean you have a working brain. =/
If she wasn't such an asshole she would still be popular. She's easily more talented than Miley/Taylor/Selena/Demi/Katy etc.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree w/ you. She can sing, no doubt, but her personality leaves a lot to be desired.
ReplyDeleteShe is more talented.
ReplyDeleteits the pop star cycle that has taken a toll on her career. there are always top female pop acts and they cycle each couple of years. some stay A longer than others. tops ones before it was Gaga, now its Taylor, and who knows what the future holds. its unfortunate bc her voice is......incredible is an understatement. but after thirty you only have so much mileage in your appeal towards the under 25 demo which IS the main demographic for popstars.
ReplyDeleteplus her last album bombed TERRIBLY.
ReplyDeleteShe's been managed by Irving Azoff since 2000. He's still her manager. While her career isn't as hot as it used to be, I think she just wants to hang out and raise her kids.
