Blind Item #2
She might have the title but when producers saw some of her (B list mostly movie actress) first footage they replaced her. Actually they said they were bringing someone in to advise her, but she was replaced.

Alicia Vikander/It Girl title
ReplyDeleteEmma Watson was replaced for Emma Stone
ReplyDeletefor the movie Lala Land---not sure about the title reference...
ReplyDeleteKatie Holmes
ReplyDeleteariane Labad replacing Vikander in"Assasins Creed"( with Fassbender)
ReplyDeleteMaybe Emma Watson is being replaced in Beauty and the Beast??? She got the title...
ReplyDelete*already replaced*
ReplyDeleteEmma Watson--also has the "It girl" title
ReplyDeleteAlicia Vikander is probably the snobbiest interviewee I've ever watched. She felt she was more skilled & deft as an actress than any other American or British "one dimensional" actress she's observed to date in her age bracket...and since she speaks many languages she should be a shoo-in for intricate parts...I thought she was being facetious but she was being serious.(she dates Fassbender ,right??)
ReplyDeleteREALLY??? oooh, that's interesting! --a "scheduling conflict" I presume?
ReplyDeleteYep- but speculation is that is was PR driven to boost her career/ soften his image a bit...anyway, I agree she's aloof, but starting at cannes this year and as if last week she's termed H-woods It Girl.I have yet to see her in something- but the Danish Girl will be interesting(tos see if she can match Eddy R)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Emily Blunt replaced someone as "The Girl On The Train" (or Haley Bennett or Rebecca Ferguson) in the casting !!!!
ReplyDeleteThe "It Girl " being the character Rachel the narrator of the story...it's sorta this year's "Gone Girl"..
ReplyDelete' aloof ' is a kind word for what she sounded like!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like Katie Holmes on her directorial feature length debut she's directed shorts before not a feature.
ReplyDeletethats a decent guess
ReplyDeleteThat was a good book, btw. The movie can only f@ck it up.
ReplyDeletethx Derek!
ReplyDeleteSandybrook and Caitlin have it. Nice one!
ReplyDeletesorry Sandman, did not see you guessed that first...
ReplyDeleteIt's ok I was laying really low anyway.
ReplyDeletemany languages? as far as I know she speaks her native language Swedish and a poor English. She actually said it herself that she wasn’t confident enough until recently about her English and after having several language trainers
ReplyDelete.......does she know that people don't know who she is yet? cause she is acting like she already has arrived when she wouldnt get recognized anywhere
