This former A list mostly movie actor who was in one of the best movies of all time has threatened to quit the new network show in which is he is starring because of the diva behavior of the female lead. The lighting and hair and makeup are taking twice as long as normal and he is tired of always waiting an hour for her to be ready for even something as simple as a 30 second scene.
Ray Liotta/Jennifer Lopez
One of the best movies of alltime?? I don't think 'No Escape' rates that high.
ReplyDeleteEven though he can't put a foot up her ass, I'm still glad he put his foot down.
ReplyDeleteWild Hogs
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of Something Wild but it's Goodfellas of course. He also played a nice Joey Pirini back in the day.
ReplyDeleteI can't blame him. He's a legit actor and she's angles/lighting/lip gloss.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame him. No real actor should have to deal with JLO's fuckery.
ReplyDeleteMovie:Goodfellas
ReplyDelete...and good for Liotta. If people stop putting up w/ diva behavior, then the behavior will stop, or at the very least, curtail a bit.
I really hope they kill off J. ho and replace her with an actual actress. Good for Ray for not staying quiet.
ReplyDeleteIn all fairness, he never had her star power and while none of her movies rate that highly, she is way more famous. She gets to be a bit diva-ish, he is more replaceable.
ReplyDeleteThinking that she may have taken some acting lessons by now, people will tune in and say, "Jeez, she got me again."
ReplyDeleteI recall at least 10 years ago that Megan Mulally made similar comments about JLo guesting on Will & Grace. She said she couldn't understand how JLo brought an entire posse of beauticians and spent hours in hair/makeup even if it kept everyone waiting. (Megan did, however, soften the criticism by saying it was particularly annoying b/c JLo was naturally beautiful and really didn't need all that stuff).
