This former A list mostly television actor from a hit cable show that just ended has walked out on his significant other because she keeps talking about having kids and our actor does not want any. Apparently he has been stringing her along for years that they would.

If she really wanted kids, why would she wait until she was 45 years old to break up with him? Seems questionable at the very least whether she can still get pregnant. Makes no sense to me.
ReplyDeleteShe can still have a child. There are plenty of celebs that do so she's not a lost cause. That being said, you reach a certain age where you do not have time to fool around. If you want kids, be up front about it from day 1. Tell the guy when. If it's clear before then that it won't happen, leave. You'll know within the first 6 months what a guy thinks of you and your future together. 5 years is no excuse. No guy is that great of a slick talker.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, at 45 she definitely could get pregnant, but it would most likely require a lot of science - at least IVF, probably donor egg, which means lots of signed consent on his part in addition to doing time in the mastabatorium. He might have said NO!
ReplyDeleteAt 45 you kind of think if she wanted kids then this would have most certernially already have been a big discussion. And really she could have done a kourtney K and just just gone a head and done it. But regardless there is no way after 16 or whatever years

ReplyDeleteYea, I get that she still could through the miracle of modern science, I am just puzzled why anyone with a burning desire to have children, would wait so long hoping he would just change his mind. I am thinking maybe all the cheating and boozing were factors too.

ReplyDeleteHe was raking in Mad Men millions, he's gorgeous, charming when he wants to be and hung like the proverbial - I can see why she stayed around even if she knew there would be no kids. Even unmarried, they've been together so long that she'll pull a hefty settlement.
ReplyDeleteIf she did expect kids and he was actually stringing her along, it was probably "When Mad Men is over, baby, then I'll have time to be a father" or some shit. So now Mad Men is over and it's time to fish or cut bait. He cut bait.
