Blind Items Revealed #2- Kindness
April 8, 2015
This A- list mostly television actress on a very hit pay cable show who once starred in a very long running very hit network show spent $100K at a charity auction on a trip for four to Europe. She then gave the trip to a guy who works on her show who couldn’t afford to take his wife on a honeymoon when they got married. They now have two children. Pretty nice gift.
Julia Louis Dreyfus
That's a Kool Kindness!
ReplyDeleteJLD from the Dreyfus Corp. family can certainly afford to do things like this
ReplyDeleteLOVE kindness blinds!!!!
ReplyDeleteTrue she has money and comes from money...but how often do you see people with money (especially old family money) who EVER offer to help anyone w/ anything! I know people in the hospitality/service industry and they say that the very rich, especially, old rich are the stingiest people on the planet!! They are the assholes who expect everything for free and leave 17 cents as a tip on a $700 meal!!
ReplyDeleteMiddle and lower class tip better and give MORE to charities than the rich.
Nice- But a guy working on a hit TV show, even as a grip or assistant I think could afford a honeymoon.
ReplyDeleteGood for her. It's not often that rich celebrities are nice and generous to workers that surround them.
ReplyDeleteShe is amazing on the outside and the inside.
ReplyDeleteLove her. What's with the minus? There isn't anyone that fits A list TV actress more then JLD. Three successful series. Five Emmys, a GG, and umpteen nominations for both. Most importantly a household name and even more recognizable face.
ReplyDeleteI read this as A- (minus) list. JLD is nothing less than A list.
ReplyDeleteIt says "when they got married." It could be that he didn't have a great job back then or they went somewhere nearby for a weekend. A European vacay for four is something not many can afford even with a good job. They are probably saving for college now anyway.
ReplyDeleteI love her, not just for this but because she's given me lots of laughs.
so true
