Blind Item #8 - Kindness
This actor is fast approaching A list. He is on a hit pay cable show and is starting to receive some hardware for his role on the show. What gets him in this spot though is a former role. Kids always recognize him for the role and when he visits hospitals he always goes dressed in the character from that movie. He always travels with one of the outfits just in case he has a chance to visit a children's hospital in the city he is traveling to.

ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad / Better Call Saul wouldn't be classified as "Pay Cable" would they? Also, what's the role that kids recognize him from and he dresses up as?
Although, dressing up as Saul and going into hospitals in search of clients would be pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteHeyGMan..Nope ;just got off IMDB and they are AMC. I just know he had a big night at CCA's! Someone else....
ReplyDeletePeter Dinklage? Game of Thrones and "Elf"?
ReplyDeletePeter Facinelli Twilight\Nurse Jackie. Possibly he isnt as bad as we think
ReplyDeleteI know he's supposedly a raging dick, but any chance Mandy Patinkin might make surprise appearances as Inigo Montoya? He has been involved in children's hospital fundraisers before.
ReplyDeleteTJ Miller?

He voiced a popular character in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise (Tuffnut). It is animated but he looks like his character and it you can easily get costumes for it. It's a stretch yes but kids are perceptive. Vin Diesel is hugely popular with kids, and they just recognize the voice (Iron Giant). Anyway just a guess.
Does parks and recs count as cable show? Because of so its Chris Pratt. There have been stories about him since guardians of the galaxy came out
ReplyDeleteNo, Parks and Rec was on NBC. And I'd say Chris Pratt is probably A list (at least for Enty) by now.
ReplyDeletePlease be Kit Harington
ReplyDeleteThis could very possibly be him. He is in the Sesame Street movie "Elmo in Grouchland" as the villian, Huxley. Either could work because they are very "in character" roles.
ReplyDeleteHe was also in Yogi Bear a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteShot in the dark, but I'm gonna guess Sam Heughan (Outlander - is that really A-list yet?). He reportedly played Batman for a number of years in the Batman Live tour show.
