Blind Item #2

This married foreign born Academy Award winner/nominee is filming in NYC. His wife is around, but she knows all about the fact that he prefers men to women and he has been trolling this past week a lot. I don't know if he will ever come out of the closet because she is totally on board with being his beard and that is the reason he married her. Oh, and for publicity. It came at a crucial time.

    I agree on this one, Sadie. Cumberbatch is in London awaiting the imminent birth of his child with Hunter. The word "publicity" is the clue here, as Redmayne's wife is a publicist. Although I have to say, Redmayne didn't seem to milk the relationship the way Cumberbatch did during the award season - his relationship was at least two years old, and the Redmayne's have, except for a couple of airport paps, never been papped gazing knowingly at the paps as they embraced the way the Cumberbatches did. Still, Redmayne is IMHO by far the more likely bisexual or total closet case. Not that it matters, I like him very much as an actor.

    it's def Eddie Redmayne (he's in NY for the HP prequel rn). there has been already rumours he fooled around with guys when he was on Broadway few years ago. wasn't so famous back then and it was easily swept under the rug.

    Redmayne is and has been, very popular in Europe starring in several movies/series that didn't get shown over in the USA. I think if he was gay, it would have been well known by now. The British do love their gossip.

    We are also less homophobic. There is also an assumption that if you've been to public (fee paying/ posh) school you've messed around with the same sex. So "Old Etonian touched peen" is not salacious in these parts
