Blind Items Revealed #4
January 19, 2015
Two companies that passed on this recent Golden Globe winner who is a B list mostly television actress because she was not “right,” which was code for wrong race have suddenly decided she is perfect. She told them both to f**k off and is sticking with the companies that liked her a month ago.
Gina Rodriguez
Good for her! -- whoever she is...
ReplyDeleteShe plays the lead on the TV show Jane the Virgin. I once watched the show, after the Globes nod, and it was horrid. The two companies were right to pass on her. I have no idea how she won.
ReplyDeleteShe's the star of Jane the Virgin. She plays Jane, the virgin, and she's fantastic on the show.
ReplyDeleteGet it, girl!
That deserves a "at-a-girl".
ReplyDeleteJane the Virgin is a bit too cheesy but I love it! Good for her.
ReplyDeleteThis seems dubious. A company is entitled to have who they want repping them, so tons of people might be considered and not get chosen for any number of reasons and not having the look they want is valid.
ReplyDeleteShe likes to run her mouth about never taking "stereotypical" roles (way to shit on actors who can't be so choosy) so I could see this being something her people put out.
came here to see the companies name
ReplyDeleteI love her as much as I love her tv show.. it's not cheesy when you see the irony of it..
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised by her rejection.. she's Latina and she didn't fit the standard (the body or the "sexiness") that the TV expect from "successful" latina actress..
Of course they passed on her, she is not attractive at all. Everyone was stunned she got that golden globe.
