This B list mostly television actress who is lucky to find work and only gets it because of her now defunct marriage which gives her that A+ list name recognition is being a diva. A guest starring role where all the cast and crew drive themselves to work but our actress has to have a car pick her up and drop her off. The only person on set who does this.
Katie Holmes
Katie on Ray Donovan
ReplyDeleteMaybe she doesn't drive?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that, too. But why let it be an ordinary reason when it can be diva behavior?!
ReplyDeleteRemember Tom cleaned her car when they first dated? She drives.
ReplyDeleteThis is such bullshit, a driver isn't 'diva' that is just common sense. She is also the only cast member that is actively followed by Scientologists. It is more likely a safety precaution than so called diva behavior.
ReplyDeletebtw Ray Donovan is a great show. It is well known that Live S. isn't exactly a walk in the park to work with.
I don't see why this is diva behavior. Who gives a shit? Kathryn Heigl and Debra Messing are somewhere nearby cackling at Katie's cute little attempt to job their hellacious ranks.
ReplyDeleteOh please HAHA
ReplyDeleteplaying dev's advocate here: but she didn't have the paps around her 24/7 back during her dawson creek days. i'm going to give the chick the benefit of the doubt and say - she hasn't driven in a long time and you never know, part of her divorce contract may be that she gets a driver for the rest of her life. who knows. I know i wouldn't want to drive if I had paps around and following all the time. (although she probably doesn't have that many following much any more....)
ReplyDeletewhile i enjoy driving - sometimes, i'd love to be chaufeur'd around so i can get shit done.
Yes it is!! Great show, great writing, great actors. I'm also happy Shane from L-word is on RD. She's awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhelp, if she or her agent negotiated car service as part of her contract, then she gets car service. Personally, I enjoy driving and will often volunteer to drive, even on long trips. However, there are times when I wouldn't mind being driven by a car service (sitting in traffic, special events, after a few adult beverages, etc.). Also, some cities are not conducive to driving one's self (NYC for example).
ReplyDeleteThat is a very small thing. If she is a guest on the show, so what?
ReplyDeleteI also don't think having a car is divaish. I guess it depends on the situtation/distance/ease of getting home etc.
ReplyDeleteThere is something that is off about her though. Seems most the cast from Dawson's Creek are still talking, except for her. Might be the scientology isolation thing, I dunno.
Ever heard of Lyft? Or Uber? This story is stupid. Lots of people don't drive themselves.
ReplyDeleteSome people get anxiety from driving especially long distances or on the freeway.
ReplyDeleteDiva? she has scientology freaks following her 24/7 ... id never be alone without protection
