Mr. X Blind Item #4 - Old Hollywood

This A+ list leading man had a little secret when he was appearing in a period picture where he was usually cast as a man in tights (including the movie he's best remembered for nowadays)... he usually wore a jockstrap which made his already large private parts seem enormous. During the making of one of his later swashbucklers, the costume fitters had to re-sew his tights again and again because the jockstrap kept ripping them.

A quick google reveals that Zorro wore pantaloons, not tights. The shirt was optional, though.

(I guess he had to be able to change back into Don Diego de la Vega at a moment's notice, and Don Diego really wouldn't have a good reason to be wearing tights. Whereas Robin Hood just skipped back to Sherwood Forest after taunting the sheriff, and so didn't have to dress formally.)
