This reality family owns a clothing line. They had about $500K worth of returns last quarter. They could have donated the clothes but they got a bigger tax break by having them all destroyed so decided to not help people other than themselves.
The Kardashians
I hate them.
ReplyDeleteHuge surprise there huh PMK?
ReplyDeleteK-Trashians -- doing what is best for them.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure even the impoverished have their standards and wouldn't be caught dead wearing their low quality crap anyway.
ReplyDeleteSomeone..please,please please..make them go away! It's like you can't escape seeing or hearing about them,if you turn your tv on..they're there,radio..they're being talked about, social media..they are in your feed..every gotdamn day! *open mouthed crying emoji*
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, retailers get millions in returns..a lot go back to the manufacturer if it's a garment flaw..if it's obviously worn, soiled(some are gross) they are taken as a loss and must be destroyed..of all the lowly Kardashian antics..this isn't one
ReplyDeletePlanet J, everyone knows exactly how you feel but remember Paris Hilton's heyday? Remember how you couldn't read a gossip column or go online without seeing her skank-ho ass? How about Speidi? They used to be all over the place and now we rarely see them.
ReplyDeleteThese famous-for-being-well-known celebs push it and push it and push it and then we get sick of them and they disappear. This is the fate awaiting the K-trashians, just give it time.
I doubt half a mil worth of clothing was soiled and HAD to be destroyed. This is typical K-Trash nonsense.
ReplyDeleteOh for a day where I don't have to hear about this screwed up family. Too bad they already have the 2 younger ones waiting for their shot at fame. I hope they crash and burn and we never have to hear about any of them again.
Very true. I can't wait for that day to hurry it's ass up and get here!
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS BUSINESS! No company would take a loss for a larger tax break. Hate on the Kardashian's but money talks and I'm sure they donate to charity somewhere along the line. Everyone talking smack when anyone in their position would do the same thing. Does Dillard's, k mart, Bloomingdale's, any other company choose to give to charity over a higher tax break, I bet they don't. Sorry haters, get over it, money rules the world.
ReplyDelete@southern belle unfortunately you are totally right. big handbag places like hermes, louis vuitton all burn their unbought bags for tax breaks with the excuse its for counterfeiingt prevention.
ReplyDeletethis is 100% not just the kardashians...this is the fashion industry under the radar, plain and simple.
ReplyDeleteI doubt they are the only ones, if there's a tax break in it for the company then you can bet most all companies do the same.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I will be delivering rotten eggs to that address!
ReplyDeleteWow, those clothes could have gone to women who need interview clothing (assuming it was clothing). You can't help but destroy the lingerie though.
ReplyDeleteAt this point the only thing that could come out about these people that would shock me would be that they make human sacrifices on an alter to the devil...anything else I can believe..
ReplyDeleteThey are repulsive.
never heard that. how do i find these purses b4 they burn them??
ReplyDeleteNo one would want to wear any of that cheesy crap anyway.
ReplyDeleteSeamstresses are expensive these days. It would be too labor intensive to take in the hip and @ss area. The poor cannot afford it.
ReplyDeleteThis should be another reason for the world to start ignoring these horrid people. And when is the IRS going to look into their financial records and that damn fake church of Kris's? This family is totally unlikeable and they do nothing but take and they never give back. I can't understand who their so called fans are.
ReplyDeleteGahhh, please. The only job interview those clothes would be appropriate for would be if you were interviewing to be a low class hooker.
