Blind Items Revealed #5
September 8, 2014
This B+/A- list mostly television actress is the lead on a hit network show that has been on a couple of years now. She has gone back to back now on network hits for different networks. She is also single and on four different dating sites because she says she wants to get married before the end of the year. Yes, this year. Yes, as in three months from now.
Mindy Kaling (I think her problem is she is telling guys this and never really has a second date.)
So she wants to get married! Her clock must be a tickin'! Can't blame her for putting it out there.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand the commercial she is in...for National insurance, I think.
ReplyDeleteI would be willing to marry her. She's from Boston. I am from Boston. BUT, since I have been married already for 30 years. That makes me too old for her. Oh, and I am not going to divorce my wife either. Does this make sense?
ReplyDeleteSorry, Mindy. I don't qualify to marry you.
She can borrow my husband for a year or two (those Hwood marriages never last anyway), as long as she pays me a really nice divorce settlement and he gets a good parting gift...
ReplyDeletethis is weird. wasn't she just on some magazine cover talking about how a woman's life isnt about just babies and marriage?.....also, how do people see her on dating sites and NOT go "hey, it's mindy kaling!" thats mindboggling to me....
ReplyDeleteBAM - Good Housekeeping interview, she's the covergirl - this is what she said, direct chunk quote from the article:
ReplyDeleteSo there's no beau in the picture right now, and that's OK, she insists: "When I was younger, I wanted so badly to be married and have kids in a rush. I loved my parents' relationship. The way my father was with my mother when she was dying was so moving. It was such devotion. I don't know that that will happen for me, but I like it." Then again, she's quick to qualify that: "I don't need marriage. I don't need anyone to take care of all my needs and desires. I can take care of them myself now."

My god, I absolutely cannot stand her. Not only is she completely overrated as a writer and unfunny as a comic actress (she has one note, annoying whiny adolescent woman), she's thinks she's a great beauty and fashionista or something and is constantly saying so every chance she gets. Bleh. Discovering she's also a desperate nut job totally completes my view of her: a total zero on par with Lena Dunham.
ReplyDeleteShe has a good self image and is a good role model to young women. She doesn't dress skanky, she's smart, well spoken and has a funny sense of humor. Maybe you're so used to the Kardashian types that when a delightfully opposite personality comes along it confuses your norm.
