This A+ list everything in her mind but in reality a B list singer/actress/reality star was begging this A list singer/songwriter for songs for her new record and implied she would be willing to hook up with him if he wanted. He passed on both offers and says he wanted to work with younger singers.

ReplyDeletePharell takes lyrics and music inspiration from previous hit songs and gets sued, so um.. no not for free.
ReplyDeleteHate to say it, but JLo should probably be at least A- in movies. The movies get made because she's in them, and she's always the lead. That's pretty much A-list, but I'd knock it down since the movies are such crap.
ReplyDelete(But even then I'm like "Oh god, a Jennifer Lopez movie! Not more of this crap!" rather than "Oh god, this movie looks like crap! No wonder JLo is in it!" She's the key "element", as they say.)

June, I get that she is a product but why should Bruno limit himself to younger singers, what the f..he wouldn't work with Tony Bennett. I call BS on this one, though Mars may not have wanted to work with her. I am in the camp that the Gaye family award set a bad precedent and 7 million was excessive. And I loved me some crazy Marvin Gaye.
