This American League West player is on a new team this season. All-Star caliber for sure but he is going to need to reduce his partying. The first night in town he found a strip club and has been juggling two dancers who don't know about each other. Every night he goes out with one of them and brings them back to his hotel. Not sure what he will do if his wife decides to visit.
Josh Hamilton
In the outfield we have Captain Relapse.
ReplyDeleteWhen he was on Texas for at least two seasons you could possibly say he was the best player in baseball. Almost nothing since he went to the Angels.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad he relapsed. He really turned his life and career around. Recovery is a process. Sounds like he is back working the program though.
ReplyDeleteJust read he is meeting with MLB officials related to some disciplinary issue. Probably failed a drug test. FYI - he is injured and may not play this year. He signed with the Angels 2 years ago- a 5 year $125million contract. He hasn't done shit the first two years. Will go down as one of the worst free agent signings in baseball history- and that is saying a lot cause there have been a lot of bad ones.
ReplyDeleteI'd feel bad for him if he wasn't such a preachy, gospel spouting hypocrite. He's relapsed 3x in the last four years and MLB has covered it up. He gives excuses filled with scripture but then never seems to really mean any of it. It's tired. New commish and he's no longer an MVP candidate so now it's going to get real. I just don't want the Angels to find a loophole out of his stupid contract.
