Blind Item #8 - Kindness
After partying all night on Academy Award night, this actress who no one has heard of but starred in that long shooting film flew across the country without any sleep. On the plane she met a woman who was suffering from the flu and traveling with an infant. Our actress held the infant for much of the five hour flight just so the mom with the flu could try and get some rest. Small, but touching.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Lorelei Linklater
ReplyDeletewhat a truly touching gesture. That mom needed that more than anything in the world. I'm gonna pay attention to this girl just cuz of this thoughtfulness.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Lorelei Linklater is a great person just like her famously nice guy dad is.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know who it is, so I can be a fan. It's rare these days for people to do something nice for others, out of kindness alone. Unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteNo, enty--not small. That is a HUGE gesture. But then you've never been so sick that you wished one of your sibs would offer to take the three-year-old for the afternoon so you could just sleep.
ReplyDeleteSounds like she was raised the right way--to be kind.
Very nice girl.
ReplyDeleteThat's not small at all. That's someone putting their time and patience into helping their fellow man. It's easier to write a check. That shows the soul of a good woman
ReplyDeleteThere are no selfless acts - lucky girl got to cuddle a warm, cozy baby.
ReplyDeleteBut five hours is a commitment, so she's for real.
I don't know who she is but if I find out I will make a point of going to see whatever she is in. That was a very big deal to that mother.
