This mild mannered television host of a network reality show complained for 20 minutes because one of the two guys sent to fetch his drink put sugar inside instead of Splenda.
David, there is absolutely no truth to the claim that all sugar substitutes, much less Splenda, which isn't a substitute, but a sugar product, are worse for you than sugar.
Splenda's an especially important case, because it's sugar that's been molecularly assaulted to "break off" the "hooks" that allow enzymes in your body to attach to it, thereby allowing you to metabolize it. It goes in one end of you, and out the other end. It doesn't even hang around.
Here I thought he was upset because Erin Andrews shut him down
ReplyDeleteNot if you're diabetic.

He's a Diva
ReplyDeleteNonsense. I would NEVER complain for 20 minutes about something so trivial. 10 tops.
ReplyDeleteHe has to watch his figure.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's just diabetic. I think show runners should know this.
ReplyDeletesplenda is sugar that has been processed with CHLORINE to remove the calories. I don't usually run my sugar thru the swimming pool before i eat it.
