I have seen some cold behavior on the red carpet before but this B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Emmy Award and Academy Award winner/nominee blames this married B list mostly movie actress for the horrible reviews their new movie got because the B lister was more worried about how she looked rather than her performance and made the lives of the crew miserable while filming. Our B+ lister shuddered after having to pose with the B lister on a red carpet the other night.
Julianne Moore/Kate Bosworth
Julianne Moore is no B+. She's an A. .
ReplyDeleteKate thinks she's a big star and Julianne should be A list at least Enty. She 's entitled to be cold.
ReplyDeleteYep, can't make a decent guess if the ratings are off.
ReplyDeleteI'm fine with Julianne being B+.
ReplyDeleteI know her face but can't name 5 things she's been in.
Under enties old guidelines and actor/actress is A if they can open a movie solo. B+ probably works for Moore.
ReplyDeleteJulianne Moore will always be A+ in my book.
ReplyDeleteI agree JM should be an A. Maybe A- ... but still an A. Amazingly talented. Kate Bosworth isn't nearly as talented and is so anorexic I can't believe she's even visible on screen any more...
ReplyDeleteJM is for sure A-. she's got the cred. look at her filmography. B+ really isn't the right rating for her.
ReplyDeletekate bosworth isn't in the same league with her as an actress.
Agree that JM doesn't fill seats, even though she is charming and I love her. B sounds right in terms of star power.
ReplyDeleteKB always seemed that way, but Orlando Bloom seems to like his women superficial and self obsessed...look who he married (and was cheated on, and divorced).
I can't imagine Julianne Moore opening a movie, sorry. B+ is probably as high as she can get.
ReplyDeleteJulianne Moore is A list. Why? Because she has a body of work that proves her exceptional talent. Being A list isn't just about box office or being able to open a movie. Most actresses can't open a movie. Look at Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet, and Emma Thompson. None of the great actresses can open on their own. Even Jennifer Lawrence owes a great deal to her material and her co-stars. Being A list is about having the respect of your peers and the movie going public, and Julianne has the respect.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure the fact that KStew was in the movie had NOTHING to do with poor reviews either right?
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should google "A-list".
ReplyDeleteJulianne is A list. Sorry, not every A list actress can open a movie and shatter the box office all by herself based solely on name. In fact, most A list actresses can't. Just because a few of them can, doesn't mean they become the standard. I mean, I've seen Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet referred to as B list on here. WTF??!?!?! A
ReplyDelete@Fred Nicole Kidman "great actress" ? That was a joke I hope. No way is Kidman great.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Julianne is A list and that the other great actresses that you named can't open a film.
Nine Months, The Big Lebowski, Boogie Nights, The End of the Affair, Far from Heaven, Blindness, An Ideal Husband, Crazy Stupid Love, The Shipping News. Children of Men. Game Change.
ReplyDeleteHello, I remember As The World Turns. I think she had an evil twin at some point, though doesn't everyone?
Julianne is lovely, but I hate it when actors blame one person for poor box office numbers. Halle Berry does this regularly and of course she has to do extra by going on her hate rounds to try and get rid of people.
ReplyDeletesorry but i cant remember ever seeing julianne playing anyone but her self...don't get me wrong i quite like her but JM is rather bland at times .
ReplyDeleteand maybe she should just go and blame kstewart if she needs to blame someone.
oh and i don't blame kb for worrying about her looks ...since lately she has been looking completely different (sick) especially since she met that creep husband of hers ....
ReplyDeletehowever kstewart still looks as bland and boyish as ever.
Agreed.
ReplyDeleteSo, third Golden Globe...is she A yet??
