This A- list mostly television actress from a hit pay cable show was talking smack about her co-stars and was grateful they had not been nominated because it would go to their head and they would want more lines and be an even bigger headache then they already are. One of her co-stars who was there was spotted by the actress and said, “Oh, but not you, you are great.”
Lena Dunham
Oh sure. Sounds legit
ReplyDeleteBut, as the / a writer for the show, wouldn't she WANT everyone nominated? Cap plus feather kinda thing?
she sort of makes my teeth itch a bit
ReplyDeleteNot a thing has gone to Lena's head brains included.
ReplyDeletePix think her writing is clever, and certainly she has a boldness I admire. I like the show, not the'tude though
ReplyDeleteI don't get the interest in this woman..she's like a pc driven weeble.
ReplyDeleteOh thank goodness. I was afraid it was Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
ReplyDeletebut can't you see Elaine Benes saying this?
ReplyDeleteWhat are you, high? Dunham only wants recognition for herself as lead actress/creator, and nothing for anyone else. SHE is the series - everyone else is totally peripheral to her "genius." I'm sure she laughed her ass off when Allison Williams crashed in "Peter Pan."
ReplyDeleteShe also knows writers mean virtually nothing in Hollywood.
Nope, not high, but I was thinking of Shonda Rhimes and all that mess about Whatserpickle pulling herself out of the Emmy running and how that was HORRIBLY OFFENSIVE by saying she hadn't been written well for. And how that was a big deal. But I guess when you are writing AND starring in the show, towtally different. Was the Peter Pan a complete crash? We watched a bit of it, it was painful but had Christopher Walken, so not all bad
ReplyDeleteTotes!
