Blind Item #8
Two companies that passed on this recent Golden Globe winner who is a B list mostly television actress because she was not "right," which was code for wrong race have suddenly decided she is perfect. She told them both to f**k off and is sticking with the companies that liked her a month ago.
Gina Rodriquez
ReplyDeleteyup tricia.. i like her spunk and that she talks educated and doesn't play up her stereotype like snorfia
ReplyDeleteHey@sugartits:)
ReplyDeleteI agree.LMAO though"snorfia" maybe- "snort" ia lol
Only non white winner that is in TV.
ReplyDeleteand this is the 21st century…..
ReplyDeleteGood for her!!!! Loved her acceptance speech.
ReplyDeleteI read an article with her before her shoiw premiered. She said she didn't want to stereotype her community & take maid roles like she was always offered. Her character in this show is a college student soon to graduate with a teaching degree but a desire to be a writer. I can see her telling them to forget it.
ReplyDeleteall i have to say is #oscars so white
ReplyDelete+1. Had never heard of her or her show before the Globes and plan to try to watch it. Sounds like CW has a winner.
ReplyDeleteLove her. Truly a representation of the non white HW community. Good for her. She can and she did!
