Today's Blind Items - Kindness
I don't think this person has ever made it into this space. She is a B list celebrity/reality star on a multiple A list reality franchise. Not the biggest name on the show at all. Probably only third or fourth in that regard, but still well known and loved. She probably also has the most generous heart. She donated her salary for the past two seasons and all of her endorsement money for the past year to various schools so they can have their own gardens and grow food and has also arranged to have kitchen equipment donated so the kids can cook what they grow. She has helped five schools to date and hopes to expand it nationally.

ReplyDeleteSomeone from a cooking show. Gail Simmon's from Top Chef? She's not the number one host on there, and she seems real nice the few times I've met her. Or maybe someone not named Giada or Rachel Ray from the Food Network? I don't watch any of their competition shows, so I don't know who else it could be.
ReplyDeletewhoever it is, she's on a show with A list reality people. i don't really consider anyone on top chef A list, but who knows? i love the thought of sourpuss gail simmons doing this.
ReplyDeleteGail Simmons. She's on multiple A list reality shows - and usually not the top name as far as judges/hosts. Honestly, can't imagine Giada nor Rachel doing this at all. They appear more self-serving.

ReplyDeleteMy 1st thought also. She doesn't really need the money. And they show her puttering around in her own garden on the show.
