This A- list celebrity might do some work for the parent company but that doesn't mean that anyone from ESPN actually likes her except for the two or three guys in a position to give her jobs. The rest of the employees can't stand her and were thrilled when she left the network. She was probably the most whispered about person last night. Evil was about the nicest thing anyone said about her. Oh, she does show up for work on time. I guess that is more of a positive.
Erin Andrews
No surprises there.
ReplyDeletehey Sandy. i've no idea who she is.
ReplyDeleteare we allowed to say hello or is it against the rules?
@Sandybrook. Agreed. She does not have the nicest reputation. Sort of like the Katherine Heigel (too lazy to check spelling) of the sports world.
ReplyDeleteDon't like her. She comes across, well, just like this BI says she is. And her hair extensions make me crazy. The Disney Princess look doesn't exactly lend itself to creating the air of serious journalism.
ReplyDeleteHi Violet. She is a sports reporter, mostly sideline work some studio work, who is also the co-host of our Dancing With The Stars. She's an opportunist and highly unpopular. Blonde fairly tall gets by on her looks has no knowledge whatsoever,
ReplyDeleteyour version of our Tess Daly by the sound of it
ReplyDeleteI had to google that one. They have similar backgrounds but Erin was a cheerleader before tv, not a model. They have similar appearance too.
ReplyDeleteShe is odious.
ReplyDeleteOr do women get judged differently in the sports news world than men???? I don't why they need so many talking heads and are you telling me none of them are divas?
ReplyDeleteEmpty, pretty face/talking-head factor aside - women get judged differently.
ReplyDeleteThere are respected women in sports reporting - Michelle Tafoya comes immediately to mind. Erin Andrews simply doesn't have the reporting skills.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have no talent/ knowledge about a subject you're supposed to know about, you will get judged. That's why ladies who go to a place like ESPN have to be on top of their game.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of male sportscasters and newscasters who are clueless too. And a lot of them are judged harshly.
ReplyDeleteHi Violet and yeh if she is like Tess Daily she must be a total biff although I dont think she has a bad reputation has she?
ReplyDeleteYes; for example, I rountinely wish that Brent Musburger would drop dead already.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget Pam Oliver.
ReplyDeleteShe's in those really stupid Tru-Biotics commercials. She also had the peeping tom situation, too.
ReplyDeleteShe was peeped.
I have seen her in action - vapid, vain, trying to hit on coaches. Waste of space.
ReplyDeleteAhhh....sorry, but Erin Andrews left ESPN in June of 2012. Over 2 years before this blind appeared in July of 2014.
ReplyDeleteshe is pretty and she knows it and is accustomed to getting things her way because of it.
ReplyDeleteErin Andrews is on ESPN College GameDay.
