Blind Item #6

This married B list mostly television actress from a very hit cable show won't have that moniker much longer. She also might not have the married one much longer either if she doesn't start to hide her relationship with the director of a certain popular NYC show. She pretends she is seeing one perfectly safe person but is there to support the director and does a really good job of it after every performance.

    The show has to be CABARET, since the director only goes to all performances before official opening and this is still in previews. That director, Sam Mendes, has rare celebrity status and people actually do gossip about him. His male star, Alan Cumming , is eminently safe company for a married woman. I have no idea who she is, but Alan is tremendously well-liked in the business so there could be plenty of women claiming to be his BFF.
