Blind Item #4
This movie is so bad it would barely even make it On Demand despite having this B list mostly movie actress with A++ list name recognition starring in it. Well, no one has called her a good actress as of late, which is why she is doing other things. Anyway, a company that pays her a lot of money is paying for all the press and promotions so it will get a very tiny release before fading away. Our actress really needs a hit. Her opportunities though keep slipping away. She thinks she is a great actress. In no way shape or form should this be considered Lindsay Lohan.
Katie Holmes - miss meadows
ReplyDeleteAniston
ReplyDeleteKirsten Dunst - kinda cute, decent actress, train wreck of a person.
ReplyDeleteI thought jennifer anniston upon reading this.
ReplyDeleteLike your guess. the rating is right and that movie looks bad.
ReplyDeleteJen Aniston has a ton of people talking about her performance in "Cake". She's probably going to get nominated for an Oscar, and some have her as an early frontrunner to win.
ReplyDeleteJessica Alba?
ReplyDeleteSecond Ali's guess.
ReplyDeleteI;m going for Anniston as it's been suggested it is her PR people who are creating the buzz and they couldn't actually get a US distributer or something along those lines
ReplyDeleteFor the movie Cake? They have distribution for that. Her PR are not the only ones talking about her as an Oscar contender. It's other people talking as well. I don't think it's her because of the line, "no one has called her a good actress as of late". A lot of people have been talking about her because of a likely Oscar nomination coming her way.
ReplyDeleteI thought you should fuck off upon reading this.
ReplyDeleteOh lord, it's Julia Roberts all over again. And this is why nobody can take the Oscars seriously.
ReplyDeleteActually, Aniston has a bunch of PR people talking about her performance in Cake, and how she should get nominated for an Oscar and they have her as an early frontrunner to win.
ReplyDeleteAre you one of those PR people? Because not wearing makeup in a film and dragging around onscreen is not exactly Oscar-worthy, even if Ms. Aniston thinks so.
No I'm not. Yes, her PR are saying she's giving an Oscar worthy performance, but so are other people not connected to her or paid by her PR team. And if you think not wearing makeup and dragging around onscreen isn't Oscar worthy then you haven't been watching the Oscars over the past twenty years. This is the kind of nonsense that wins people an Oscar, so I'm not sure why any of us are trying so hard in our performances for every damn movie. All you have to do is not put on makeup, have a character with some kind of struggle, (mentally handicapped, or in Jen's case someone suffering from chronic pain.)
ReplyDeleteYou may not like her, but many people not connected to her are saying she will get nominated. Personally I don't care for her, but I haven't seen Cake and I've been hearing good things from people whose opinion I trust. She's not exactly a joy to work with, but enough people like her that she'll get a nomination at the very least. I probably won't vote for her, but these types of roles are called "Oscar bait" for a reason. They get nominated and they win. It happens all the time.
