The tabloids are filled with all kinds of claims about Tori Spelling and her relationship with Dean McDermott. At this point, I am not even sure if Tori knows which are real and which are made up as part of some elaborate plan to stay in the public eye. I don't have much sympathy for someone who made up an affair story and a woman just to get a reality show. The effect that is going to have on her kids and the stuff will have to read about it later in life just isn't worth it. Do I think Dean has cheated? Absolutely. Lots and lots of times, but they were kept pretty quiet until Tori decided to make one up and get a season of a show. Here is the thing I always tell myself about Tori and her illnesses. when she was placed on bed rest for her last pregnancy it was for months and months but you never heard a peep about it. The only time there is any peep about anything is when something is faked or wanted to be used for attention. Why is this all coming out at the same time her new season is starting? It is always something with her and I don't feel any compassion for her running through her almost $1M inheritance and the other millions she has earned over the past decade with one reality show after the other and appearances on home shopping. Her mom won't let her be homeless or be totally broke so it is not something I worry about. She does this for attention and everyone keeps giving it to her.
*yawn* tl:dr
ReplyDeletewho?
ReplyDeleteI used to like her, but now she's like a mosquito in your room while you're trying to sleep. It's annoying and you just want it to stop buzzing in your ear.
ReplyDeleteWho gives a fuck? Really?
ReplyDelete@IJU- gorgeous avi! ♡
DeleteCheers my dear Lotta. X
DeleteDonna Martin Graduates!
ReplyDelete@Its just U, well HELLO HOTNESS AVI!!!! -u r smokin' ijU, & nI say that with total respect & admiration dear!!
ReplyDeleteGee, I wish my hair looked like that when I'm in my sickbed. Does she have someone come in and do it for her?
ReplyDeletebtw Enty, that's not koool to wake up to Tori.
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you Rolo. That is always nice to hear. That was my 38th birthday a couple of weeks ago. The obligatory selfie coz I am down wiv da kidzzz...
ReplyDeleteBTW, I love your name.
That stupid photo of her is a fucking Joke. Full of herself and the drama. They both suck. True Tori???? More like made up idiot Tori.
ReplyDeleteTori's dad left sooo much money and had a production company…why would she want to be in front of the camera when she could have been on the creative end….the woman is a fool
ReplyDeleteI feel sad reading all of the hate for Tori. I think she has some mental issues and is constantly crying for help. Instead of help, she's got a cold mother and a philandering husband.
ReplyDeleteI really hope someone steps up to the plate to help her out.
Cobe-+1
DeleteAgree. She needs help. If you've watched the shows you realize how damaged and insecure she is.
DeleteI wonder if her dad had left her really big $ if she'd be doing all this crap..probably. If she were terribly sick I think her mom would show up..she's probably just dehydrated (celebs always getting dehydrated..no one to open their water bottle I guess)
ReplyDelete"If she were terribly sick, I think her mom would show up . . . "
DeleteIt seems that her mother is a really awful person. Just because one would assume that a mother WOULD show up, doesn't mean that Tori's mother will. I feel terribly sad for Tori. Her father is dead and her mother is by all accounts a very cold and self serving person. Because her mother has SAID that she wouldn't let the children go hungry, doesn't mean that's what the mother will DO. It could also mean that the mother would try to take the children from her own daughter. I really feel like Candy Spelling is downright evil.
Now, imagine you are a young girl, your father dies, and you are left with nobody but a woman who dislikes you. You marry a man to escape, but the man turns out to be just as selfish. Instead of people reaching out to help you, you are mocked because you grew up in a wealthy household.
This a recipe for disaster.
I'm glad she is in the hospital and hope someone with some training in mental welfare will take the time to help her out.
but CoBe,she's kind of reaping what she sowed.
ReplyDelete#1-It was her Dad,Aaron who cut her out of his Will b/c of her lifestyle choices-he was very clear that either she agreed to Trustee to oversee her inheritance until she was 30 or get nothing. She stomped her feet & said F*** U.
#2-Her "philandering husband" philandered with HER while he was married to wife#1-why would he be any different with her??
In Short,she's a terrible actress w/this episode.
Not to mention the however many million dollar wedding to th first guy, where she got everything she wanted that Daddy paid for, and she cheated on him and divorced him in a year or less for Deano.
Delete@rolo--I didn't know that. Wow. I wondered why she was written out, just assumed that the mother had insisted on being sole inheritor. I'm still surprised that she wasn't included. She doesn't have to agree to a trustee for one to be appointed.
DeleteI agree that she shouldn't be too surprised that a cheater still cheats. But I do feel like her home environment was a really bad place to be. People forget that money doesn't equal happiness or even the opportunity for happiness. Sometimes money just draws leeches.
Good point rolo.. also candy knows as well as tabloids have pointed out ... She has storage units full of clothes purses ,shoes . All kinds of shit... worth $$$$ she can never file for bankruptcy because of all the crap she has accumulated over the years..
Deleteshe conveniently leaves all that out when hollaring she's broke..
@Iju,hahaha thanks.
ReplyDeleteGuys stop she really has Ebola.
ReplyDeleteCobe--you may be right..I guess I just assume ..sometimes incorrectly..that something just kicks in even with bad moms, when their kids need them. The only thing I know about mom is she had a gift wrapping room in her mansion bigger than my first apt, hehe
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find many f*cks to give about this idiot and her illness. I never watched 90210, never watched any of her lame ass reality shows or read any of her books. I did see her on Rachel Ray one day...but didn't pay attention. Maybe one day no one else will and she will be forced to live in totally obscurity with all the other has beens and never weres.
ReplyDelete@CoBe, and other people
ReplyDeleteDo you all forget that there is a Spelling son? We never hear about him because he's not a drama queen like his sister. He's not doing reality shows or breaking up marriages or making up stories about how "poor" he is and how he has to do anything to make money because his"mean mommy" is so horrible.
Come on people. Don't make Candy Spelling the bad guy in this mess. You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. Tori is the one causing all the drama and filming it for the world to see. The world should stop watching and reading about her so she can go away and either get some mental help or maybe just grow up.
He had a reality show with Rod Stewart's son and another guy.
DeleteAnd now I'm hanging my head in shame bc I not only know this info, but I watched the show.
Essie and pink- thats because son, randy swallowed a load of shit to do what candy demanded in order to get money. Tori didnt and she was cut off. Candy grudgingly gives her money when tori is desperate, and always with publicity. And oh yeah, tori has many problems-insecurity, internal issues, douchbag husband- but cant help but feel somewhat sorry for her sad life.
DeleteThat pose says it all.. she wants to show all the IVs and the hospital band so that it is proof she is really "sick." PLEASE LADY.
ReplyDeleteNot me...I don't give her attention. I don't watch her show, and I couldn't care less about her and her ugly @ss mooching husband. They're both complete jokes.
ReplyDeleteReality TV has made me realize stupid and useless some people are in this world.
@Pink
ReplyDeleteYes, I know. I was going to mention that show but it was so long ago and only one season that I didn't think anyone who remember. You win. HA!!
@Pink Cashmere, L.O.L.
ReplyDelete& I sincerely thank you b/c
I try to learn one new fact everyday & you've just given me that lil'gold nugget of Spelling trivia so I'm now set for the rest of the day- BOOM.
@Essie, I meant to add above EXCELLENT POINT about the brother....
ReplyDelete"who"?.."Tori has a bro"? EXACTLY YOUR POINT!!!
It's ridiculous she's taking up a hospital room for someone that might really need it! I hope she loses everything and has to file for bankruptcy! She's a vile and selfish woman!!
ReplyDeleteI always used to like her in general; she seemed genuine and sweet, even if her acting was no great shakes, the nepotism, etc. Then all the stories come out RE: Dean and it's pretty clear that she's making crap up to stay relevant. And then someone here (I think?) stated that his/her kids or relative's kids or something went to school with her kids and they're just mean and awful kids who bully others and I think...eh. :-/
ReplyDeleteOh, Tori. How you disappoint me now.
Anyone who has Jewish parents will understand the type of mother Candy is. I read her recent book. The son is a "life coach" in Oregon or something, married with kids, seems to have a happy life. Tori feels like a victim because she is not as successful as she thought she would be, but it is all as a result of her poor choices. She chose to make 4 kids with an immature addict, and is continuing to have unprotected sex with him (as evidenced in her recent "pregnancy scare"). Don't feel sorry for her. She should be grateful for what she has. She has a lot of health problems, and I am sure her weight (likely under 100 she recently admitted) is an issue. I think she is smart and funny, and she will be fine.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for Tori. I wish her well.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when people post pics of themselves in the hospital
ReplyDeleteOne of my FB friends does this ALL the time
"I'm in the ER AGAIN for my migraines" UGH
I didn't read this article, I just came to comment that I saw this picture and laughed out loud. Is that wrong?
ReplyDelete@Pink Cashmere, love the mosquito analogy. You know how when you wake up and hear it buzzing and slap yourself in the face HARD and feel really stupid, and you always miss the mosquito anyway, and he does a victory lap around your head just to rub it in?
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel about anything to do with Tori Spelling.
If Candy gave Tori and her family money now, what would Tori have to talk about?
ReplyDeleteIsn't her whole empire (if you can call it that) based on "I'm poor and unhappy and it's all my moms fault?".
Why is her "IV" under all those bracelets? Seems like a bad place for an IV. Unless it's fake.
ReplyDelete@Sugar Monkey the IV is probably in her wrist. I've had IVs there. Can't say I'd be surprised if it was actually fake though!
ReplyDeleteI will never feel sorry for Tori after the way she treated Dean's first wife and baby daughter. She's trash.
If Tori did tell her mother to shove it, I give her props for that. And whatever her whiny ways, the money she has, she earned on her own.
ReplyDeleteI suppose if we stopped thinking of reality TV as actually reality and started thinking of Tori as a writer rather than a reality star, then we might give her some props for keeping the drama in the show. Just trying to see it from the other side.
What I heard from when her father died is that Candy persuaded Aaron (Tori's father) to leave everything to her with a nominal $1 million to Tori. The father maybe was a bit out of it, I don't know, but he assured Tori she would be set for life, then left her just a million, and I know even to us little people a million is not exactly set for life. That's the equivalent of $25K a year for 40 years.
Sounds like the mom might be a bit of a control freak. And, it can't be easy being Tori Spelling who god bless her looks like her father who was no prize in the looks department, with a mother who was very pretty.
And ... that's (more than) all the brain cells I want to devote to the Spellings in 2014!
Tori inherited $800,000, not a mil.
ReplyDeleteCandy was Aaron Spellings wife for almost 40 years. The money belonged to them as a couple. It was hers to do with as she wished.
ReplyDeleteWhen my dad passed away, I certainly didn't expect my mom to share their money and assets with me, just because he was no longer around.
People have a very skewed view of the world.
Tori being Tori
ReplyDeleteIf they had gotten divorced Candy would have gotten half of the assets, not 100% of them. He had the right to leave his half to anyone he wanted in his will. Candy had no more right to inherit his half of the estate than his children did.
ReplyDeleteIt was suggested that she exerted influence on him not to leave more than a relative pittance to their children. Combined, if the estate was really worth $500 million and the kids got $800K each, Candy got 99.7% of the estate and they got 1/4 of 1% each. That seems really skewed to me. What the hell does a woman pushing 60 need with $548.4 million dollars at the expense of her own children? Other than CONTROL?
Prunella dearest- good thoughts! Plus Candy sold their house, so add another few million to total. Mb Aaron did the money that way so the kids wld be forced to interact with Candy. There was always tension there; mb this was his very misguided way of keeping them close.
DeleteI took a close look at the photo. There is a bandage with a shadow on her left hand-what is that for?
ReplyDeleteThe IV on her right hand seems to go nowhere. Interestingly, the fluids must be clear and they go to a bag that we don't see either.
This woman is a sad mess.
She is making a fool of herself. How is that going to be explained to her kids? She had better save up some $$ for their therapy.
Irony
ReplyDeleteI asked a friend who's a retired lawyer, she substantiated what I thought. In case anyone is interested:
ReplyDeleteThe earnings of each spouse during the marriage are generally community property. California Family Code section 760:
"760. Except as otherwise provided by statute, all property, real or personal, wherever situated, acquired by a married person during the marriage while domiciled in this state is community property."
If Spelling died intestate, his wife would receive half of the community property, and his children would split the other half. California Probate Code section 100(a):
"100. (a) Upon the death of a married person, one-half of the community property belongs to the surviving spouse and the other half belongs to the decedent."
If Spelling made a will, he had the right to leave his children whatever he wanted, including his share of the community property, less than his share -- or nothing. Probate Code section 21621(a):
"21621. A child shall not receive a share of the estate under Section 21620 if any of the following is established:
(a) The decedent's failure to provide for the child in the decedent's testamentary instruments was intentional and that intention appears from the testamentary instruments."
Although California is a civil law jurisdiction in that its codes are in part derived from Spanish law (which in turn comes from the Code Napoleon) -- this is the origin of our community property law -- California follows the common-law rule that allows children to be disinherited (vs. legitieme in civil law countries).
Assuming that Spelling had testamentary capacity at the time he made his will, his decision to leave the children much less than half his estate would most likely be validated by a court.
Interestingly, in some European countries, children cannot be disinherited even if their parents intentionally disinherit them in their wills. If a parent does disinherit the children, they are still entitled to split half of that parent's estate.
