Teresa Giudice Blames Her Attorney For Jail Sentence
Last night the first part of a two part interview with Joe and Teresa Giudice aired on Watch What Happens Live. I have a hard time believing that Teresa is as naive as she made herself out to be. First, she says she has not told her daughters that she is going to jail, but I don't see how they can't know and I don't understand not being the one to tell them rather than someone at school or someone they run into. Teresa also said that she didn't know that when she pleaded guilty that it meant she might get jail time. She says that is why she hired an attorney and that attorneys are supposed to fight for her. Umm, they do, but attorneys also expect you to provide them with the information they need for paperwork that needs to be filed with the court so it isn't six months late. They also need to have you provide them with correct information so that you do not perjure yourself and try to lie to the court. In the filings Teresa says she has no jewelry. None. If you watch any episode of RHNJ you can see about $200K worth of jewels just on her arm. I don't understand her at all and she continues to blame everyone but herself.
Look Enty if you don't know by now that these famewhore reality show people are idiots and morons I can't help you one bit. They are also liars.
ReplyDeleteSo... All the enterns are on vacation I'm guessing? One blind in an hour and a half?
ReplyDeleteHey Teresa, while you spend your 15 months in prison, what do you think Joe will be doing? Think again.
ReplyDeleteShe is a liar and con woman. If her lios are moving, lies are flying out and its time for the shovel.
ReplyDeleteLips
DeleteLOL She blames her attorney? She might want to think about what SHE did. You do the crime, be prepared to do the time. Moron.
ReplyDeleteI watched it, if they were paid for that interview Bravo was ripped off. All the husband did was mumble some lame excuses and the Theresa act was just pathetic. They wanted the lifestyle and the money and are just grifters.
ReplyDeletebravo seriously paid them 325k to play dumb and blame it on their poor attorneys? maybe joe's free shout out to mens warehouse will get him some commercial gigs while tre is away...
ReplyDeleteShe is a perfect example of what most attorneys have to deal with as clients. One rule of thumb I learned from other attorneys when I first started practicing was that you should expect that your client is lying to you. Perhaps not intentionally making up facts, but definitely not telling you about things they think won't come out or aren't relevant. One friend of mine was representing a woman in a child custody battle and it wasn't until her client was on the stand that she learned her client had danced naked for dollar bills at her wedding reception! Guess who won custody?
ReplyDeleteShe's either a liar or an idiot and neither one is good.
ReplyDeleteshe's not naive. she's a LIAR. they both are.
ReplyDeleteShe cannot be as dumb as she plays. If so, how does she write cookbooks, have a haircare line, etc? And she just signs whatever is put in front of her?
ReplyDeleteHopefully, after jail, she won't try and blame everyone else and be accountable for her actions.
I guess I'm the only one who loved the interview. I read almost five different recaps last night and I'm shocked at the comments. Even Enty's. Everyone is saying the same thing, they can't believe she didn't think she'd go to jail, basically that she conned everyone and was lying to Andy playing an innocent victim.... When the entire what, six years? she's been on tv all everyone has said is how dumb she is. Yes, she really is dumb enough to think she wouldn't go to prison. Remember last Xmas they did random secret Santa presents and it was a coincidence Teresa got the dictionary? But it seemed staged bc everyone knows she could use one. There is no way a woman of her intelligence even understands the concept of a fake loan.
ReplyDeleteShe claimed to have no idea why this "horrible thing" was happening TO HER. As if it were a totally random thing, rather than the expected consequence of having broken the law. And she hopes her daughters learn that their mom is strong. She's an idiot.
ReplyDeleteExactly! They act like this terrible thing just happened to them. Good riddance
DeleteWell said Bit dams! Thanks!!
DeleteSome people find God in prison....she will find reality...
ReplyDeleteA lying not-really-real-housewife? I am schocked. SHOCKED, I tell you!
ReplyDeleteOf course she blames her attorney. No one seriously thought the stupid c*nt would admit she's going to prison because she broke the damn law, did they?
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this woman on screen, let alone talk. I would rather be shipwrecked on a desert island with nothing to read. I just don't get the fascination.
ReplyDeleteShe's super dumb. When Andy asked them if Theresa would have an anger problem in jail. Theresa said no and Joe told Theresa "what if another woman tries to touch you" then he just laughed lmao!! He's an asshole they're not sorry about it and they would do it again
ReplyDeleteJoe was hard to understand, but I caught something about another woman and Teresa. She shut that down pretty fast with "that's' not funny."
DeleteTeresa seemed to be absolutely crushed. She kept saying she hoped her husband takes care of the girls and brings them to visit her. She obviously isn't too sure about Joe being responsible.
I just watched and she said she told the oldest gia. But not the little girls. But that the little ones knew something bad happened
ReplyDeleteOf course she does. It has nothing to do with the fact that she's GUILTY
ReplyDeleteOMG. It was a horrifying half-hour.
ReplyDeleteI was stunned that Teresa blamed the lawyers. I do believe both her and Joe that they thought she would not go to jail.
When is the next half airing? Fucking Bravo, milking it for all it is worth. I am curious to see how this all impacts RHNJ ratings. I know the numbers have been down this year.
They are a piece of work. Blaming the lawyers. They apparently didn't reveal info on their affidavits for the Judge and that was the accountants' faults. Like Andy said, they have a team working for them. Unreal.
ReplyDeletetrixa - Yes! I feel like in conclusion, I was like, these people are just so fucking dumb. I really really do think that.
ReplyDeleteAnd Wendy Williams' legal expert was so lame. She shed absolutely no new light on anything.
Do any of you know if Teresa will absolutely serve her full term, or will it be abbreviated if she's on good behavior, etc.?
Enty, according to the NY Daily News, her lawyer was sitting right off camera, and told her to answer every question either "We love our kids" or "I need to learn to read the documents before I sign them", no matter WHAT Andy asked her, so it's another scam from them.
ReplyDeleteShe's not naive, Enty. She's STOOPID. Spelled that way..
ReplyDeleteI can but can't believe that interview last night.
ReplyDeleteIt was ridiculous, I didn't see any signs of remorse at all. My favorite part of the whole interview was when Joe said, "I only signed what the bank gave me."
Andy called them out, it was fantastic.
She could have gotten a suspended sentance for what she did. The reason they jailed her was due to all the lies she told after she tried to make a deal. Courts take a dim view of lying under oath.
ReplyDeleteD Brown - I completely agree. From what the judge said, it seems like Teresa is being sent to prison due to the lies AFTER pleading guilty. I can't believe they didn't report everything. Who is advising them?!?!
ReplyDeleteThis will make a great reality show.
ReplyDeleteOrange Is The New Theresa. Wait.
Theresa Is The New Black. Yah.
GetOnTheBottomBitch!
True dat JoeinLA.
ReplyDeleteNot enough people get punished for blatant perjury though.
I hope she gets cornholed by coked up guards while she's in the joint.
ReplyDeleteIn Ontario, if a judge gives you 15 months, you are eligible to apply for parole after 1/3 of the sentence has been served and you get earned remission for good behaviour of 15 days per month served reducing your sentence to about 2/3rd. So if you apply for parole and are successful you could theoretically be out in 5 months but under what we call mandatory supervision. Not bad huh and they have a provision that under exceptional circumstances you can get parole before even serving the one third sentence.
ReplyDeleteNO, you fucking BITCH - you are going to jail because YOU BLATANTLY BROKE THE LAW.
ReplyDeleteUGH - I am SO tired of no one taking responsibility for their fuck ups!
Remember the plunger scene in "Born Innocent", Teresa?
ReplyDeleteBitch just needs to SHUT THE FUCK UP. You& your low life of a husband are the ONLY ONES to blame for the mess you put yourselfs in.
ReplyDeleteI read or heard someone on tv say for this type of sentence there is no release for good behavior so she will serve exactly 15 months.
ReplyDeleteI think Teresa has a very low IQ, seriously maybe around the 10 yr old child range. She may be barely literate without the ability to understand consequences. I'm sure Joe just had to dangle a shiny new toy in front of her and she would sign anything...he is the crook!
ReplyDeleteI actually blame her and her husband.
ReplyDeleteCunty cunty cunt. I hope they both rot. Worse, I hope they're both forgotten.
ReplyDeletefederal sentences aren't reduced for good behavior.
ReplyDeleteI think they're both crooks. She is smart enough to know that they were living well beyond their means, even if he did most of the rigging, she just wanted what she wanted no matter how she got it (ripping people off)and hoped Joe was a good enough criminal so they wouldn't get caught.
ReplyDeleteANYWAY. She probably won't be recognized in prison without her hair extensions, wigs, fake lashes and gallon of face spackle. Not to mention her fillers will prob deflate and Botox will wear off.
She's "playing dumb" to appeal the sentence.
ReplyDeleteOne of the only ways to appeal the sentence handed down after a plea deal is to claim you didn't fully understand what the plea deal entailed and what rights you waived. Also, a separate judge will go through the trial to ensure that the previous judge/prosecution explained EVERY condition of the rights you waive by accepting a plea deal.
She's looking for a loophole. She's not as dumb as she seems.
Emily - I think that move would get her MORE time. They're not fooling anyone and deserve what they received and more. Those poor kids.
DeleteHi @Susan, If She is going to Federal prison, she goes for the duration normally. If she is going to state Prison usually around 2/3 of the sentence-credit for good behavior, etc.but in reality it's because of the overcrowding of the prison & she'd be at a minimum security facility(non-violent offender)anyway-the place is harmless
ReplyDeleterolo - please tell me she will at least be strip searched and de-loused!
DeleteThey have apparently learned nothing from all of this mess that they have created. D-E-N-I-A-L. Fake or real?
ReplyDeleteThey are not going to change their ways.
Ever the victim(s). Mindless, spineless amoeba that have NO idea how to tell right from wrong. Barf.
ReplyDeleteBy staggering Teresa and Joe's sentences, the judge showed both of them more consideration than either of them showed to the scores of people and businesses they stole from by way of fraud. I'm sure the creditors that have been left holding the bag for all of the Guidice's bad debt have families and children as well. But I guess it doesn't matter how those families fare with the loss of their income, as long as the Guidice's got theirs.
These are stupid people who cannot keep their own lies straight. Neither of them has ever taken responsibility for anything they have ever done, so I wasn't surprised that they tried to lie and dodge their way through this interview.
ReplyDeleteI hope they serve every single minute of their sentences. Frankly, if their kids are cared for by someone else -- very nearly anyone else -- while they are in prison, they'll be better off than with these liars.
I never noticed her low hair line until it was mentioned here; now it's all I can see.
ReplyDeleteSomehow this is all hilarious to me.
Nope it's not her fault at all that she's going to jail.
ReplyDeleteHer hairline freaks me out.
NARCISSIST
ReplyDeleteShe's too busy living in the bubble to bother with reality. That's all gonna change soon. Dumb ass thieving GUILTY bitch.
