Snoop Dogg Really Hates Iggy Azalea

First Snoop Dogg started hating on gay people and now he has turned his attention to Iggy Azalea. Do I think Iggy is the most talented person in the world? No. Do I especially like her? No. I do like Charli XCX though in that kind of I hear a song ten million times because every radio station plays the same songs kind of way until it is drilled in your head forever. Anyway, even though I don't like Iggy, I'm not going to start calling her names or make fun of her looks or call her a b**ch or c**t compare her to Marlon Wayans in White Girl like Snoop did. I thought smoking as much pot as Snoop smokes is supposed to make you more mellow. I don't get the hate and just sheer anger directed towards her. Did Iggy not hook up with Snoop when he wanted to? Does he not like Swaggy P aka Nick Young? Snoop is spending a lot of time on this Twiiter war with her and I was hoping after he used the f word to describe a gay couple that he would show some decency. The guy has grown kids and he is acting like he is in kindergarten and his feelings got hurt because the teacher let someone else erase the chalkboard. What we would consider a chore now was like the highlight of the day in kindergarten. Begging to do work for free.

  1. You are setting the bar way too high. This is Snoop Double Diamond Dick Dogg we are talking about. He used to pimp women out and shoot people. If anything, I'm only shocked he has so publicly demoted himself to the level of Twitterbeefs with Miss Fancy Pants. The hate towards her is unreal though. Although, I must I admit that I can't help but chuckle at her "Culture Vulture" title.

Oops! We forgot to get his money and buy My Medicine...
No wonder Snoop is so agitated. He reportedly smokes 81 blunts a day.

Speaking of which, I wonder if Waka Flocka hired someone to be his personal roller yet. He offered $50k/yr

    2. Really?? Any idea how to get a hold of him?

    3. @plokzy: Twitter! Resumes must be submitted via photographic documentation of your blunts, with the hashtag #ICanRoll!

I would write you a Letter of Rec but none are needed. Serious applicants only. Keep us posted on your progress. Godspeed.

    4. I still might need it. Not sure how good my odds are to be a skinny white dude within Brick Squad. Nardwuar did it, but my odds are still low... Already applied as Juicy J's lean carrier. Didn't make the cut.

  3. Seems like Iggy isn't following the 'women in hip hop' script.
Always be second. Take all shit and shake your ass. Be happy to be abused.
I like Snoop but he's aciting like a bitch now. He insulted the girl, she called him on it and now he has to keep it going.
    It's getting silly now.

  6. Maybe he has her confused with Angel Haze, who had a serious beef with his girl Azealia Banks... I can see the stoner-logic leap. Y'all he is an old confused stoned Lion! They should make a cartoon of him; it would be amazing.

  7. Im with Lady H.

Snoop was a hoodlum when he was Izzy's age. She's not harming a soul, whether you like her style or not. Snoop is now a 50 something year old man, fighting with a 20 something year old girl online.

    Grow the F up Snoopy.

  8. Are you kidding? Snoop may be in his 40's, but he is not a grown man mentally.

  9. Also should add I dont think its cool that hes taking potshots at her and making it a bit racist but she will neva eva eva be on the same scale as talented hip hop artists like lil kim, mc lyte, remy ma, salt n pepa. Even nicki minaj who has some promise. She might as well hang it up. Shes what I consider a one trick pony. No real raw talent but shes a rarity because shes white and female and can pantomime hip hop fairly well. She gets kudos for that. She will be like eminem in my opinion. He hasnt put out anything remotely decent since 8 mile imo. One.trick.pony.

  13. Most of the pot currently being grown has removed the mellow chemical that used to be in it to counteract the THC, back when the THC levels were low. So I am not sure how mellow pot is unless medical marijuana has that mellow chemical back in.

I stumbled upon the FB of one of Gary Oldman's sons and he had posted a video of his Dad attempting an Iggy Azalea song during a radio interview very funny.

  14. She's a woman in hiphop, white, and Australian trying to sound american black. The backlash is not only inevitable, it's borderline promised.

Personally I think she's talented. Haven't been paying attention to her at all lately, but her early Ignorant Art mixtape is a classic in my eyes. When I saw she was blowing up huge this summer, I wasn't mad at it. And I'm hypercritical of anything hiphop.

    1. She would be talented if she was being herself. It's insulting that there are so many authentic female rappers out here, but Iggy is the one with the shine. That I don't understand.

      It's just not fair.

It seems to me that Snoop is just frustrated that he can't rape her, settle it out of court, be done with it and return to his adoring fans as he has so many times in the past.

  17. @Tina M: That was sweeeet! I had to look that up. Gary Oldman rules!

Still love Anna Kendrick's Iggy imitation on SNL

@plokzy: Ok Iggy experts weigh in if I'm wrong but isn't the Iggy backlash related to her use of the n word as well?

    1. That's definitely an issue, but not the defining one I think. V-Nasty and the like are way worse... I think it has more to do with her obviously-fake "drawl", trying to sound domestic when she talks with an Australian accent. I can understand how that appropriation can ruffle a few feathers. Not to forgot her immediate rise to the top, based strictly on her marketability versus work put in.

  18. I think it's funny. One of the old schoolers coming up to smack down one of the new manufactured talents. And, honestly people, do you think Snoop has had some kind of spiritual and intellectual awakening? Hardly. He's still an uneducated, immature dumb-dumb that he's always been, but at least he can sling rhymes he wrote. And let's not even begin to compare his coming up with Dre to Iggy coming up with these two-bit, manufactured "hip hop artists" like TI.

Chuck D also put Iggy on blast and it AAS for using the n word apparently.

    2. Oh that's right. I forgot about the whole "runaway Slave Massa" shit. Yikes. Good luck with that Iggy.

  19. I find this so funny! Iggy is a no-talent with a short shelf life. And yes, she absolutely does resemble the character from "White Chicks". I am a fan of neither Snoop or Iggy and dont even listen to rap. I just find this refreshing because I am tired of everyone sanitizing their opinions. The real world isn't politically correct. Good for Snoop for saying what he really feels. I am sure Iggy is butt hurt by it. LOL

  20. I don't know if I've ever heard a "song" by either of them. And I don't think I'm missing much.

  21. I don't know her outside of this blog, but every picture I see reminds me of this:

17 Things That Look Exactly Like Iggy Azalea

Twitter wars are the Internet equivalent of a schoolyard fight where the two opponents circle and taunt each other, but nothing really goes down except lame insults.

  22. @Lady H - What I love about the Chuck D thing is that he's trying to eradicate the word altogether and end the casual glorification of the word.

  24. One of Iggy's problems is that she likes the idea of being conveniently black. Imitates the culture, uses the slang (does that all wrong, BTW), positions herself as being hip with hip-hop. But when sh*t gets heated and she's called out for some of her mess, she reverts back to her white Australian roots.

She's got some talent. But after seeing that most blacks really weren't feeling her, Iggy went the pop route and now she's a star. No big deal. But she still wants to be included at the cool black table.

She can't have it both ways.

Eminem was very talented and had enough self-awareness not to ask for/expect the so-called 'black pass card.' Iggy is off to a very bad start with this sort of thing.

  25. Team Iggy. Double diamond is a pot filled asshole who hates females, kikes, probably crackers, and law in general.

And that thing of critisizing her for sounding like an African American while African Americans are always imitating cracker people culture. If they stick to their culture, they should be wearing loincloth and using spears instead of guns to murder the f word of them in gangs, but they imitate crackers and they are not critisized for it.

  26. Where was all the attention when Iggy was making disgusting, racist tweets? She is a culture appropriating caricature. It is difficult to feel bad for her when she has been unapologetic about the stunts she's pulled.
