ReplyDeleteOk, but Lost in Translation was written for Bill Murray and he Killed it. I saw the trailer for Birdman and Keaton Double Diamond Kills it. Hope he gets an Oscar. It's shot in like a continuous take. It's just beautifully shot, directed and acted.

Derek yes...Emma stone is a total- enigma(not in a good way)to me....I watch her on onterviews and find her..charming and DTE...but jeeez. Her acting range is no greater than many who receive less acclaim(Ike amanda seyfried who actually Has range)
She is from ARizona, but must have had a godfather aka/ Spielberg type on her side

If you haven't seen "The Fall" with Gillian Anderson & Dornan, it might change your mind. I actually haven't read "50 Shades" and don't intend to, but he was definitely dangerous and smolder-y in that.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but both of the leads for that 50 Shades movie look dull as dirt (especially Dakota). I see pictures of them and there's like ZERO chemistry at all. I've not read the books but I've heard enough to think that they would have cast it more appropriately.
ReplyDeleteSort of like Twilight. I actually watched the first movie and Robsten are like 2 freakin robots. I had read the books way before the movie was ever a thought (so sue me) and I didn't think it was a huge deal. When the movies came out all of it was so horrible I totally embarrassed to admit I've read the books.
Just seems like when the central focus of the story is love, lust or sex you'd want to cast a couple that have a shred of chemistry together. I just look at Dakota and think - BORING!!!
I can't believe Heather Graham is almost 45 years old. That girl hasn't done a thing to her face and she looks fabulous. She also has a very young neck, which helps, and she's never been anorexic or under nourished. Always looks the same.
