I know she wants it
Enty once again he was only a one-hit POP MUSIC wonder, he's had a successful R&B career of hits.
Maybe she's willing to share custody because she likes to occasionally tie one on.
@sandy...thank you. I mean, guy ain't winning my vote for husband of the year, but he is talented and I've been listening to him since 2004..,,self entitled album was great....he's been collorabating with Pharrell for eve. People just weren't are.

I think the phrase 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stone's comes to mind.
I highly doubt he is the only person who was wasted while around the kid.
Keep things amicable and nobody needs to know the dirty little secrets.
Sandy's right, he's been popular in that genre for awhile. I remember hearing a good deal about him years before Blurred Lines.
Nothing wrong with joint custody. @ITsJustU is right.
I've heard she's just as bad. Who knows. They were together for a long time.
Most musicians cant win any award for husband or wife of the year. Not even a saint like Bruce Springsteen. Or Bono.
Nope.
We know Dave Matthews isn't..lol
Well, for the sake of the kid, let's just be glad that there will always be nannies around.
I know that. That's my point. I have joint custody with my ex. He never did anything worse then I ever did, so why go into all the dirty laundry?
Keep it simple and the kid benefits. Mud slinging and acrimony only leads to sad and nervous kids.
Good for her! Moving on...
She's probably the same way, so why throw shade at him? Poor kid!
I didn't mean that to come off snotty.
Mmmm mmm mmmm Paula. I think this is just about as pretty as it gets.
Omg we're back to CC'ing
Good for you, @Its just U! That's the way to do it.
You come off as wise, not snotty.
She prob also needs time for her boyfriend. And maybe she knows the importance of her son having a father in his life as much as possible.
Don't be a pisser!!
Excellent points IJU. Plus kids need both parents. She'll probably end up with them most of the time due to his touring anyway.
They need both parents unless they're negligent, abusive or a holes who can't keep a bamboo alive (which reminds me to water my bamboo).
Sandybrook: you are forgetting about the bastion of good parenting : Courtney Love!
I have full custody of my little ones, with very good reason. Their father sees them on a regular basis, though, and I insist we keep things civil for the kids. Me & their dad & his new wife even took them out for their birthday dinner together. It's about the kids - not our issues with each other!
TV junkie: I worked in the family law courts as an FDR prac and it always needs to be child focused. Whatever is best for the kids. Glad you two were selfless enough to work this out!
How could I possibly @bee? :(
Go Paula!!! You're saving yourself from a big headache and lots of gifts. Gifts like the herps, etc.
Thanks, Bee!!
I know I'm the only one, but I was hoping they'd reconcile.
She doesn't care about the kid and wants free time, meaning she's no better than he is anyway. Poor kid.
I'm sure the kid is with nannies all the time, even when his parents are around.
