Rest in Peace, Oscar :(
I know most of you dont care for sports. Anyway he was regarded as one of the top three up and coming players in baseball and St. Louis had big plans for him in the future. RIP.
RIP Oscar from Dominican Republic #2 this week. So sad.
Fast car, bad roads….what a waste
Damn Very Tragic---oh maaaan 22!!
@Sandy, I LOVE sports.
RIP to Oscar AND his girlfriend. Just because she isn't 'famous' doesn't mean it's ok to leave her out yo. They died together. Show her some respect too Entern.
So sad. :(
Well put @Riven
See, if the Cardinals had gone to the World Series this never would have happened. Although when it is your time to go, it is your time to go. So sad to lose another Cardinal due to a car crash.
So very sad and too young. @Sandy and Rolo, I love Sports. Football is my favorite but love baseball too.
Thanks for clearing that up @Riven
RIP Edilia "Yamali" Arvelo
I really feel for the families involved. So sad. :'(
RIP to these young people and deepest sympathies to their families.
Oh wow, they were so very young, how terribly sad. RIP
What, is October Death Month or something?
My sympathy to the families, friends, and fans. So young!
So young, life was just beginning.
What talent this kid had. Terrible shame. RIP BTW, I love baseball and am a complete seam head
So young with such a promising future. That's so sad.
It was such a sad end of Sunday here in STL. His was the future and we have been hearing of his bright future for 3 years. Was lucky enough to see his first hr & when he hit it - it literally began to pour. Just sad....he's the 3rd active player we have lost in 12 yrs - Kile, Hancock (an accident I saw) & now Oscar. Some stars are so bright that they just belong to the sky. Both so young and just so so sad. Its cloudy here for good reason today.
To all my fellow members of Cardinal Nation, we are more than fans (We know how we have been called the best fans in all of sports by everyone who's ever been in the organization), we are FAMILY. I'm reminded of when we lost Darryl Kyle. Matheny and Mozalack have already flown out to be with Oscar's family and we will overcome this.
What makes me the most mad is we are missing out on watching Oscar become a superstar. His swing was almost exactly like a young Pujols. He went out in style, his last at bat was a game winning home run. You can't be more dramatic than that and that HR will live in Cardinals lore forever.
We have lost a member of the family and it hurts, it always will. But like a family, we will come together, remember his memory and dedicate the next season to his memory and go all the way. That's the Cardinal way. We never forget our past and those that came before us.
Rest in Peace, Oscar and thank you.
So sad. RIP
