Well, he was the only one to benefit from her death. Somehow a will was changed leaving her family and friends nothing but, and since Tammy was very loving towards her children ad grandchild - and friends. Why would he have walked away with everything - especially since she appears to have spent several years heavily drugged and under his control until her "untimely" death.
@Bacon Ranch: Ya nailed this in the frist pookie!!!
You also get song dedication of the day! This came out 16 years ago this week- can't believe it!!! We are seeing Piece of Me tonight!! @sugarbread: we are in Baker yo!
Holy shit, what a long strange trip she had! ( just googled). It was unclear if husband in any way responsible for her death. She had some medical history and a dependance on pain meds. Sometimes family finds it easier to blame someone. My husband worked with a man whose teenaged son died in car accident. He was 17 or 18, his girlfriend had just broken up with him, he had lost his job. It looked like he floored the gas and drove into a local landmark. His parents believe he had involuntary muscle spasm of foot that caused him to press gas pedal. They say he had just been diagnosed with this syndrome. Was it true? Idk, but it made them feel better so who am i to say? Same for tammy's family- she had problems, they prob didnt like the last hubby and blame him for her death. But what they think he did is unclear and they list court case.
Have friends whose son died in one car accident. Seems he floored it on the expressway and ran into a bridge support. He was 17, from a born-again family. I don't think they could live with suicide but by the look of how their hair grayed seemingly overnight I can imagine they knew. So sad. We won't know the truth abot this.
I saw a man lie down in front of a railroad train. The family insisted it was an accident and he tripped. I saw & got weeks of nightmares out of it. I can still remember exactly when, where & what train it was. Four & a half years later.
Tammy Wynette was a mess the last years of her life. This sounds like an Anna Nicole deal here. Which begs the question: Whatever happened to Howard? Why wasn't he ever brought up on charges? That bastage seemed guilty as hell to me.
tammys husband had a mistress for 1 year b4 her death he had her doped up on pain pills and *alledgedly * slowly poisined him.. tammys kids were not his kids and he spent all her money
I used to live in Nashville and knew someone who was a neighbor of theirs, and who was very close to Tammy's children. This story is true--they still question the way she died.
*crickets*

ReplyDeleteTammy had a very messy life.
Poor Tammy had such crappy luck with men.
ReplyDeleteAlways thought that was shady
ReplyDeleteMaybe she shouldn't have been telling every woman to "Stand By Your Man" so many times to where she actually believed it
ReplyDeleteI feel for the family, but let's get real. Tammy killed Tammy.
