  6. I was saddened to hear this over the weekend. I watch "Welcome Back, Kotter" every week thanks to MeTV. She was a great straight-man foil to Gabe Kaplan and those silly jokes about "did I ever tell you about my Uncle Morty?"

(Silly sidenote: as a kid, I got her and Jan Smithers confused. Both lovely and looked similar with the glasses, both with last names that start with "S," I guess?)

  7. She was terrific and gorgeous and just radiated intelligence. I liked her a lot.

And, all due credit to Enty! This is the first obit I've read that correctly names the second Disney flick as Honey I Blew Up The Kid. Everybody else is calling it "Honey I Blew Up The Kids."

  8. She released a single in 1967 called "The Flower Children". She was a part of the Laurel/Topanga Canyon(s) folk-rock scenes; & a longtime lover of John Sebastian of the "Lovin' Spoonful" (he sang the theme song to "Welcome Back, Kotter". RIP. Wonderful person.
