Lindsay Lohan Missing Rehearsals

You would think that with all of the negative attention directed towards Lindsay Lohan since her play opened ten days ago that she would be working extra hard to improve her performance. Nope. Instead, she has started missing rehearsals and other production meetings because she has been staying out super late every night partying. Normally there would not really be any additional rehearsals once the play opened, but the reviews were so bad the director has been trying to make changes to improve the play but Lindsay won't have anything to do with it because that was not part of her original deal with the producers. All she wants to do is get paid and complete her run because she thinks there will be lots of job offers for her. If she can't nail a few lines after a month of practicing for a small West End play, who is going to risk millions of dollars hiring her for a movie? Her time has come and gone and she should probably take a break from the spotlight for a few years and then try and make a comeback after she gets her life back on track.

    Every review I read from opening night said she was one of the only GOOD things to write about regarding this play :( (The Guardian and the Telegraph).

    Yes she should take a break from the spot light buuuuut she won't. Like a moth to a flame. The funny/sad things is, ok maybe more funny. Is she thinks there will be a ton of offers after. Due to Botox this makes me smile on the inside

    You know as much as I have agreed that Lilo is a crew-up this is just piling on. Everything I have heard is that she has been at worst "okay" and I have also heard she's been very good. It's clear that Enty has a personal dislike for her that is coloring everything she does for him. When it comes to Lindsay now , I can't take Enty seriously anymore because it's clear he personally loathes her.

    if you watched her "documentary" series, she gets really weird and freaked out when people try and change things on her, or don't explain what the small details are in a job. i think she has probably gotten burned and bait'n'switched in the past so she reacts this way.

    that being said, she should tell the director that and stay professional as they try and make the play the best it can be.

      I don't know. Averse to change. Needs minutae explained extensively. Sounds psychotic to me. I think she's fried her brain. The alcohol alone is probably causing unrepairable damage. She's done all this damage during the time her brain was forming. I don't think she can turn back the clock.

    She seems to like yachting and being on the water. Perhaps Linds would fare better on one of those nice luxury cruise ships where she can act in dinner theater productions.

    Al Pacino is going to take her under his wing. Producers are going to offer her roles that would have otherwise gone to Jessica Chastain. She will win an Oscar, an Olivier, a Tony and an Emmy next year. Did I miss anything?

    But on film she can say her lines over and over and over until she gets them right. Remember how Kubrick would often shoot 70 takes of a single scene? I'm sure that would be the bare minimum of takes he'd need if Lindsay was working for him.

    Ho-Lohan's been defunked for years.
    She should take a permanent break but her nose would rebel. That's OK. Sure there's a party happening somewhere where she can pick up a few quid for "performance".

    I think she wants all the preks of being an actress, the awards, VIP entrance, magazine convers, but actually being an actress, I don't think, when it comes to actually doing the work, she shows what she feels is important.

    But she's showing up for the shows correct? Still don't think this will help her launch her career to something better than The Canyons. She should think about another career in the biz not acting.

    Agree with @Sandy. It sounds frim the reviews like she was one of the few things about the show that was working. Still wish she'd cut back on the partying though.

    The character has almost no lines as it is, and she still can't get those right. And the reviews are NOT glowing -- it's a tiny theater, the reviews are that the two men are the stars and she's just okay. Which is damning praise, frankly.

    She herself considers it a triumph because,hey, she could have just not shown up. I would guess that's not a rare enough quality in an actor that producers will be knocking down her door on that basis alone.

    She's never gonna make a comeback. In a few years there's gonna be a retirement village for burned out actors/singers that can no longer function in society due to substance abuse or mental illness. It's like they're all poised to topple like dominos. Seems like an awful lot of young "performers" are going off the rails at an alarming rate.

    Agree with Sandy, There was criticism from the peanut gallery at the preopening performance when she didn't know her lines but at the actual opening her performance was given good reviews by the actual critics. That doesn't excuse her missing and showing up late for rehearsals though but par but the course with this bitch- it will always be something.

    Enty thinks Lindsay's time has come and gone and yet Oprah is still willing to give her a second season on her network. When Oprah starts handing out reality shows to the average Joe in the same way that she gave out cars then I will believe that Lindsay's celebritiism is behind her. For whatever reason too many people are still willing to give this chick another chance while hard working people (professors) can't make a decent living and have to use food stamps.
