Kit Carson Has Died

Filmmaker, actor and USA Film Festival founder L.M. Kit Carson, ‘one of the greats,’ and the man who introduced Wes Anderson and the Wilson brothers to filmmaking has died. He was 73. The photo above is from his role in Running On Empty.

  5. Looked at the pic first & then thought when did kato Kaelin become a film maker? Then thought probably a bit later than he should have!
    Rough week so far.
    RIP Kit. 73 is too young :(

  8. To be "one of the greats", my google only finds a Kit Carson who was an American trailblazer and native american fighter from the XIX century.

  9. If River Phoenix hadn't joined the 27 club, would anyone be talking about him now or even know who he was?
    Kurt cobain & Courtney loves house was down the road from my kiddles school. It had to be ripped down because of the adulation of fans & their disruption . It is now a park.
    Personally as much as I don't really like him, Dave Grohl has always had more talent, as has Courtney Love.
    He was a brilliant angst ridden talent, but I dont think he would have survived the test of time.
    Big rant.
